    Hello, I?m Brian

I tried the 15 day program after I had already lost 20 lbs myself. The reboot program was going good and I continued with my weight lost. Then crashed and burned on day 11. My excuse was my son?s birthday. I thought that I would be able to get right back on it, but it didn?t happen. I kept saying, tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow.

Since, then ? I have spent the last 5 months on the UN-reboot program. Grrrr. Being on the UN-reboot program, I have managed to gain 25 lbs back. This had nothing to do with being on the reboot program before. Once, again ? my back hurts, I can?t walk as far as I did before, my endurance has diminished, etc. Why did I make this choice to go back to my bad habits when I was feeling so Great in July.

OK, enough for that. Yesterday, I started by eating all veggies and had a carrot/apple/kale juice during dinner. Today, I started Day-1. Besides feeling a sleepy at times and a bit hungry, it is going good. Wish me well. This time, I will NOT blow-up on day 11. I want to feel even better than I did in July.

Day 2 - again. It is going very well.

This is my second attempt for the 15 day plan.

Before, I crashed and burned on day 11.

On Day - 1, I switched to just drinking water or water with Lemon.
On Day 0, I just ate Veggies for all my meals.
On Day 1, I started juicing with Salads and fruits.

Today, I feel good. I feel enthusiastic and I even have a bounce in my step.

I have not felt this way for a very long time.

Why do we except feeling bad, except the aching back, except a lack of energy and tolerate little enthusiasm ?

    Stupid, stupid, stupid.

    Enough of that !

I am looking forward to Day 3 with continued success.

    Today, went good.

Feeling good and I am loving the extra energy.

Compared to last Friday, it was a chore to walk a 1/4 mile. Tonight, I did it no trouble.

Bonus - my back pain is gone :-) and my pants seem a little looser, already.

The only thing that was a little hard today was my family's dinner of Shrimp and fried fish. Happy to say, I stuck to juicing and I am proud of myself for doing this.

The day is over and I am looking forward to Day 4.

    Take care all.

Last night, sleep didn't find me for hours. Although, when I woke this morning, it wasn't too bad.

Today was fairly easy. I even had to cook dinner for my company, tonight. Fried Fish. Last night, I only had to endure the aroma from the fried fish but today, I had to cook it. I really wasn't tempted but the hard part was not to nibble.

Tonight, I feel content. Not full but not hungry either.

I am looking forward to day 5.

Now, I am only 6 days away from where I crashed and burned on my first juice fast.

I will do it this time.

    Thanks and take care.

    Today, went good.

This is my 5th day juicing and I am feeling good.

    I am down 7 lbs.

I went to a museum today and it was nice being able to walk around for hours without an aching back.

Afterwards, my family and friends wanted Chinese. There is this new Chinese buffet that just opened. They wanted me to go with them but I said - So I can just watch everyone eat ;-) Now, whenever a new buffet opens, you know that food will always be high-caliber. Good for me. I passed this up and went home and followed the juicing plan. Yes, I would have liked to have joined them but I have no regrets with my choice.

I am looking forward to day six and continuing my weight reduction.

    Take care......

Today went very good. Down another 3 lbs for a total of 10.

I also woke up wide awake. Usually, I want to hit the snooze button multiple times.

I knew that I would be away from the house all day and I wouldn't be able to prepare juice or the foods for Day 6, so I prepared in advance and took it with me.

My family and my sister-in-law's family wanted McDonald's. How successful can one be trying to eat something at McD's and staying on the juice fast ? Answer - NOT AT ALL.

I am happy that I had my own juice and food already in-hand.

    Looking forward to Day 7.

Take care and wishing you all well.

Feeling good. Pants are looser. Sitting in my truck driving is no longer uncomfortable because my gut has shrunk.

Today, I walked 1/2 mile. A week ago, the thought of walking any distance brought the thought of aching back and getting tired. Now, I walked briskly and didn't even get out of breath.

Why did I wait so long to get back to juicing especially when I knew it would make me feel so fantastic. I don't know. Stupid, stupid, stupid. :-( But, I am doing it now. Yeah, me :-)

The scale today didn't move lower. No troubles. Tomorrow, I am sure that it will.

Yesterday, I juiced mustard greens. I have never had mustard greens before. When I drank my juice, everyone in my truck kept saying it smelled like poop. Yes, it does have a very unpleasant aroma.
Tip, don't juice mustard greens. It also left me very gassy.

This Thursday, I will start my weight loss group again. It will be nice getting back to the group at approx the same weight the last time that I went.

Looking forward to Day 8 and being able to get past Day 11. Day 11, the first time that I did juicing was when I hit the brick wall and everything after that went to hell.

Take care and have a good day.

    Today went good.

Down anther 1 1/2 lbs for a total of 11 lbs in 8 days.

Also, went for another 1/2 mile walk today.

I am loving this extra energy that I have. Now, I want to get up and go instead of being content just to sit around and watching TV.

In addition to juicing today, I boiled some cauliflower with dinner. I feel very content and satisfied.

I am looking forward to Day 9.

Take care and wishing everyone all the success.

Today went very well. I am full of energy.

Hoped on the scale and it was pleased. Down another 3lbs for a total of 14.5 lbs. YES !

I even walked 3/4 of a mile and didn't tire.

I had boiled cauliflower again with my dinner juice. I find this makes an incredible difference. I feel completely full and satisfied. Bonus - cauliflower is very, very low in calories.

Looking forward to tomorrow and to the benefits of continued juicing.

Take care and success to everyone.

Today went great even though the scale didn't budge. No matter. I am sure that it will tomorrow.

I did my walk of 3/4 of a mile with much energy and a fast pace.

To think, just 11 days ago, I was in bad shape. Short walks brought on sweat. I was always very tired in the morning and slept in big time. I had little motivation. Only 11 days later, feeling great with a lot of energy. I am not kidding myself, I still have a long ways to go, although I am looking forward to even feeling better and being able to do more things.

Now onto day 11. Day 11 last time was my wall. I went to hell after that. Will day 11 be hard this time. NO WAY.

    Thanks for listening.

Take care and enjoy the juice.

Day 11 is completed. I did It. Last time, I crashed and burned on day 11 and everything after that went down hill.

Today, was good. I lost 1/2 lb and I am feeling great.

I woke up today, wide awake. Before, any chance to get extra sleep, I took it.

Later in the day, I had to cook for a friend's party. I made Dim Sum. That wasn't too bad making it and cooking it.

Now, at the party was tougher. Friends kept offering me drinks and there was a ton of great Asian food.

Probably, the hardest thing today was having to tell my son that I would not be eating the pop-corn that he bought for me. Why dad, he said. But, I bought it for you. That was hard because he doesn't understand what dad is trying to do.

    Thanks for listening.

I am looking forward to Day 12 - First time.

Take care and have fun juicing.......

Today was day 12 for me. Before, I only made it to Day 11 and fell apart after that.

I woke up today at 9:30 am and felt that I needed to get up. I was wide awake. Before, it was 12:30 pm. on a Saturday is when I felt like I needed to get up even though, I could still sleep.

I am loving the energy and being able to walk around without having to anticipate the back pain.

Another 1/2 lb has left and my gut is getting smaller. Probably, in a week's time, I will not even notice my gut anymore when I drive. Before it was becoming uncomfortable.

The transformation has been amazing in this short of time. It almost feels like I am cheating. Without juicing, it would have taken months and months of dedicated dieting an exercise to feel so good.

We went out today to a flea market and on our way back, stopped at a store right next to one of my favorite restaurants. Fuji - A Japanese buffet. Fuji called for me, beckoned me and tried to seduce me. Instead, I just drove away, went home and enjoyed a juice.

Wishing everyone the best day ever.

    Take care......

Today was good with a very slow start. Hmmm, I slept in some and woke up tired. The first time since, I started juicing. Fortunately, with my first juice of the day, the tiredness abated.

The scale was good to me, this morning. I lost 2 1/2 lbs for a total of 17 1/2 lbs :-)

Later in the day, I hit the produce market and spent $35. I am going to focus on the mean green drink for this week. Still no cauliflower at the market. So expensive this time of year. Last week, for only a softball sized cauliflower, they wanted $2 - OMG, you have to be kidding :-( I miss cauliflower - low in cal and very filling.

After that, we went to Sams club. I got the kids pistachios and ice cream. For my wife, a box of chocolate. I only bought coffee for myself - yes, I know we are not supposed to have coffee during juicing. This is my weakness. I love a good cup of coffee during the day.

Tonight, I made my kids and dad, grilled pork chops. I kept asking them how do they taste ? They only thing that I did was take a few deep inhales from the pork chop aroma.

Even though I had my dinner juice, I couldn't shake the hunger so I grilled some mushrooms. A very low cal way that put my hunger at bay.

Tomorrow, I am going to introduce Almond Silk brand milk and Kashi cereal to my kids. Let's see, if they like it.

Take care and wishing everyone a good day juicing.

    Today, went well.

I got up early and was totally rested. Started off with 1/2 lb loss for a total of 18 lbs :-)

With the energy and enthusiasm that I have - I cleaned my refrigerator, added a shelf to the pantry, fixed a broken draw, organized a cupboard and two drawers, went through the myriad batteries that I have in order to remove the bad ones and made my kids and wife omelets for breakfast. Today, was a good day off of work.

Before a day off would have went something like this: Get up at noon, my wife would have already have given the kids lunch, watch TV, surf the net, perhaps take the kids someone to play and at night - make dinner for the family. Wow, what a difference two weeks have made.

For my juicing, I have decided to focus more on the green juices. This evening, I was hungry and had a slight headache. This is the first headache that I have had, since I have started to juice. By taking a little of the juice that I had prepared for tomorrow and some apple, I was able to rid myself of the headache and abate the huger.

Take care and I wish everyone a great day juicing, tomorrow.

Hopped on the scale this morning and I was down another 1 lb for a total of 19 of them.

    Today, I walked 7/8 of a mile.

I am feeling motivated and I don't want to sit around anymore.

My wife loves this transformation in me, also. Projects that I needed to get done for a long time, are now getting done and I am enjoying doing them.

At work, a friend of mine said that in the morning, he just feels tired and that he doesn't feel awake until about 2 in the afternoon. I asked him - Ever consider adding juicing to your diet ? He asked me, if this was from the movie "FSND" and I said, yes. I was surprised that he saw this movie, also. I told him what I was currently doing and my incredible results. Now, I have even opened my commitment to 60 days to more people. I am in deep, now ;-)

He said that he tried juicing before and only made it to day 2 and gave up. I then told him about trying the 15 day reboot plan that I did. Much easier this way to transition into juicing 100%. He told me, he would look at the plan.

I have involved my kids in cheering me on. Each day, we celebrate one more day that dad has stayed on the program. We have a snowman that is used to count down the days to Christmas. So, each day, my kids chant the number of the day that I am on and then walk over to the snowman and increment the count.

I look forward to day 16 and seeing what the scale says. I love getting on the scale, now !

Take care and I hope all of you are experiencing the same joy that I have received......

    Today, was another good day.

The scale told me that I lost another 2 lbs for a total of 21 lbs :-)

During my lunch break, I walked over a fast paced mile and it felt great.

I still can't find cauliflower. Probably, because it is too dang expensive. I was looking forward to the California harvest of cauliflower but with the cold snap that just happened, so much for cheap cauliflower :-(

Any suggestions for a low cal, filling vegetable would be much appreciated !

To satisfy myself, I steamed some mushrooms and had them with my dinner juice. Completely satisfied with both tonight.

A fellow at work, today, saw my bottle of mean green. He said - what the hell is that ? I told him a little about it. He said - Seriously, you drink that everyday ? I said - Yes, I do. He walked away, shaking his and a muttering something about swamp water - LOL

As time goes by, my fixation on meat and seafood is dwindling. When I started juicing, I thought that I would break the fast with a huge chunk of roast beef, a side of fried chicken and a few beer to wash it all down. Perhaps, even a lobster, scallops and fried fish. Now, as good as that sounds, I don't think, I will be doing that. I need to rethink my fast breaking meal, now :-)

How is everyone sleeping. My sleep has been good and I need fewer hours of sleep then I have in the past. Last night, I went to bed around midnight, didn't sleep until 1:30 am and got up at 7:30am. Sure, I could have slept more but within a few mins, I felt good and I wasn't tired the whole work day. As I sit here and type, its 930pm and I am still wide awake.

Take care and I wish everyone a good juicing day, tomorrow.

The scale is still being kind to me. Another 1 LB for a total of 22 LBS :-)

At work, I walked over a mile, again. I am really getting into this walking thing. Feels great.

Tonight, was my weight lost class. I really like going to this class, now because I know that I will loose weight each week.

At class, I thought for sure that I would be weekly best looser with a weight lost of 5.5 LBS for the week. Nope, this lady in my group lost 6 LBS. I knew that I should have worn my sweat pants instead of my heavy blue jeans. Oh well. I am happy for her. Another lady in the group lost 5 LBS. I am sure that she was thinking she was the best looser, also.

For dinner, I had steamed mushrooms and squash with the my juice. I need to start grilling these, again. They taste so much better on the grill. Although, with temperatures in the single digits, its cold out there :-O

I am looking forward to tomorrow and enjoying the energy, great mood and better health.

Juicing has not only began to change me physically, it has helped me be a better person, father and husband.

    Another good day :-)

Woke up this morning and jumped on the scale. The scale said - you have lost another 1 1/2 lbs for a total of 23 1/2 LBS.

Today, I worked from home. My wife was preparing Chicken Adobo to take to a friend's house. O.K. that sort of got me. The smell of the vinegar and chicken was so pleasant. In the end, I didn't not yield to temptation. I made a big juice and enjoyed it.

Tonight, I went to a birthday party. Not eating - No problem. The food looked very bad ;-) Even when my friend placed a pitcher of beer in front of me, I was not tempted. Sure, I thought about how a few beer would be nice but as soon as I entertained the thought , the thought left my mind.

I am looking forward to tomorrow and how much better I will feel and look .

Today, for the first time in awhile, the scale didn't budge. No troubles. Staying the same is still good :-)

I found cauliflower, today. Holy cow - it sure wasn't cheap but I got it anyways. The cauliflower steamed went great tonight with my dinner juice.

The day was easy until I had to make dinner for my family. Seriously, you want me to do the cooking ! I made beef and snow peas. After the snow peas were cooked in beef juices, I popped a couple in my mouth and then took them out immediately. Wow - how easy it is to unconsciously eat.

Even though, I didn't eat them, it just set off my mind to dwell of food.

As I wind down the day, I could really go for a few shots of bourbon. That sounds really good at the moment. But, I am not going to do it. I have come to far and I want to achieve my goal.

When I wake-up, I hope sleep will have purged the thoughts of food.

Today, was good even though the scale this morning said that I gained one LB. No worries. I'll get back to going the other way, tomorrow ?

Perhaps, it was the steamed cauliflower that I had with dinner, yesterday ;-)

On my way home, today - my wife calls and she wants White Castle. Why do you have the guy following this type of program be the one to stop and get fast food. White Castle is probably about the worst fast food there is but let me tell you - It sure smelled good :-O

During lunch time, I didn't have a back-up juice made. My only resort - Steamed brussels sprouts. Oh My - did they taste so good. It seems the taste buds are alive and able to appreciate flavors like they never had before.

One thing that I noticed, today - I don't seem constantly thirsty as I have been, since I started this. I hope that I am finally able to retain some water. Sure, is better then drinking/eliminating all day long.

I got on this scale this morning and it finally gave me a 1/2 LB to the positive :-) Down for a total of 24 LBS.

This is the first day in a couple of weeks that I don't feel totally pumped. I feel good, although not great.

If I didn't know any better, I would accuse my wife of trying to sabotage my reboot. What the heck ! She wanted me to make beef jerky and my legendary smoked spareribs. OK, I capitulated and made them for her. The beef jerky, not a problem. But, I love spareribs. Love, love. As my wife was eating them, she said - you are not going to have these ribs. They are so good. Grrrrrrrrrrr. Even with this, I managed to stay away from them.

I don't know, if it is the juicing that is keeping me from getting sick, but my whole family has the flu except for me. If it is the juicing - Thank You juice.

I didn't feel lighter this morning but I put 1 1/2 LBS Less of pressure on the scale. For a total loss of 25 1/2 LBS.

I felt good today, better then yesterday but I am still looking for the over-the-top energy and the feeling euphoria back.

I was able to get my walk in today and that felt good. I did 1 1/4 miles.

By the time that I got home from work, I didn't have to cook for my family. That was taken care of already :-) No temptation to deal with !

I am begining to become tired of the juices but still have have 100% commitment to my journey. Even with my nightly steamed veggie that I have, I need something to shake it up. Huh, did someone say Shake ? Like a strawberry shake ? Yeah, right - get real. LOL

The scale keeps being kind to me. Another 1 1/2 LBS down - Total 27 LBS :-)

My wife tells me that I really need to get new pants. She says that you look like a clown. I said to her - you married a clown - Now, I look the part ;-)

Felt better, today. Not the euphoria as before but it still is a good feeling. With this feeling, things don't seem to bother me as they did before. I also seem to have more confidence.

Today, I walked 1 1/2 miles. It was cool when I passed the seasoned walkers at work due to the energy and stamina that I have, now. After the walk, I had such a peaceful feeling. I love being able to walk like this again.

After work, I hit the produce market. Spent, another $40 on produce. I can't wait for spring and summer so the veggie/fruit cost will only be 1/2 as much. The one thing good about winter, I can store the produce in my basement and not have to clutter the refrigerator.

Before when we bought veggies and fruit, it seemed like we would throw 40% of it away due to spoilage. Now, I use all of what I buy. Since, I started this, only one thing went bad. Mustard greens. I can live with that. When I juiced them, my family kept accusing each other of farting :-O Yes, they smelled so bad !

What does this mean ? It means that I am no longer a 300 + LB guy. I have broken into the 200's :-)

And from my highest weight last year before I started to juice, I am down 43 LBS. I love it........

Today, I Did a 1 mile regular paced walk. I think, I was overdoing it the last couple of days. Even with the tremendous energy that I have, now - I still have to remember the appropriate level of exercise limits.

A month ago, I could not get into my winter jacket. I even managed to bust the zipper :-( Since, that time, I was wearing a winter jacket that my dad used to wear. I was not going to buy a winter jacket that was even larger. Dad's winter jacket was warm but it made me feel very old wearing it. A couple week's ago, I had the zipper replaced in my winter jacket. I just got it back tonight and the jacket fits nicely with even roam to spare.

Even though juiceing is giving me great nutrition, I believe that I am missing some vitimans and minerals. To supplement, I bought a multivitamin and some veggie protein.

Today I didn't walk but shoveled the drive. I think that counts ;-)

Take care and enjoy your juice.......

For whatever reason, I could not reply to this post on the original one.

    Original Post:

I?m planning on doing a reboot. I?m from the Philippines. Is there anybody from here who tried doing this. I need help preparing my menu because some of the given ingredients is not available here.

    Really need help.

My reply to the original post:

    Magandang umaga( Good morning ).

This really should be a very easy place to do a reboot from. Always fresh produce available.

I didn't do a juicing from the Philippines, although I lived there for two years.

For the 'Mean Green' juice - Ginger, apples, celery, cucumbers, kale and lemon.

If you are in the Manila area, then you should be able to get celery and apples that comes from Baguio.

If not lemons, then use calamansi.

If you can't get the kale, substitute other greens. e.g. Kang kong.

Ingat ka ( Take care )

Have fun juicing with different veggies and fruits.......

Down another 1 LB, today for a total loss of 31 1/2 LBS :-)

Today, the juice just wasn't enough for me. It was not cravings for bad stuff, it just seemed that my body needed more nutrients and especially Food.

I didn't go crazy on ribs, jerky, cheese or beer. I chowed on veggies and fruit. I enjoyed jimica, steamed cauliflower, kale, carrots, strawberries and blueberries. This seemed to do my body good and it seemed to satisfy what was missing. I felt very good afterwards. It sounds funny - Chowed on veggies and fruit. LOL

I know that I may not loose weight in the moring, although with my food choices, I know that I am not going to gain !

Today, I didn't walk. Got to give it a rest during the week for one day.

I hope everyone has a good day tomorrow and you are able to achieve what you intended when you first started juicing.

Got on the scale, today and I broke even. I am good with that, since the day before I ate a lot of fruits and veggies. I just didn?t feel right. Its what my body needed to feel better. I must have been missing something in my daily juices that I got from eating the fruits and veggies. I felt so good afterwards.

I don?t know why, but I was fixated on buffalo wings( chicken wings ) with a creamy hot sauce and parmesan cheese sprinkled on top of them. I had these over two months ago and they were so good. I am glad that I don?t know where my friend got them and where ever he did get them, the drive would be about 40 miles away. A good distance from me to keep myself away from the bad stuff !

Today, I walked a little over a mile. Felt good to walk again. I enjoy walking now, even if it is just a walk from the parking lot to my office. I feel light and free. It?s a good feeling.

Take care and I hope your juice gives you the energy and freedom from your current limitations??

This morning, I got on the scale. "What the Sam Hill !" 5 LB Gain @!#@$%! How is this even possible ?
I got off the scale and the scale did not go back to zero like it should have. After 30 seconds, the scale displayed an Error message. I moved the scale to another place on the floor and re-weighed myself a few times. Each time, it said - You lost 1 1/2 more LBS :-) Good answer ! To date, I have lost a total of 33 LBS.

Tomorrow, I will commence day 30 of my 60 day reboot. I am looking forward to this very much. When I first started my reboot, I thought that I would be lucky, if I made it 10 days.

To everyone, take care and I hope that your juicing brings you the health that we all deserve......

Wow - I have been doing the reboot for 30 days.

This morning, I got on the scale and it said that I was a 1/2 LB down for a total of 33 1/2 LBS :-)

33 1/2 LBS - That is two bowling balls and change. I can't imagine carrying around two bowling balls all day. No wonder why my back hurt before !

30 days ago, when I started the reboot, I was hoping for 15 days. Anything beyond that was not possible to achieve. Now, I am mid-way to my goal. I have looked at this goal differently. I am not counting down the days and looking for it to be over. I am enjoying each day and the benefits juicing has brought to my life. I have no idea what day it was during the last 30 days that I knew, I would make my goal. After a while, it became no question. I will achieve my goal and succeed.

Just like most of us on this site, I have had weight issues basically all my life. When I was just seven, I was a little overweight. 10 LBS overweight. ( Just to be 10 LBS overweight - I am envious of that 7 year old ) From that time on, it seemed like the weight never came off. In my life, there were two times that I was a good weight. 7th grade and 10th grade. The rest of the time, always over weight or obese. I did come close in college - only 21 LBS away from goal and then life happened.

With the help of the reboot, I am down to the weight I was 6 years, ago. I know that I still have a long way to go, but the reboot has been liberating for me. It has given my life back to me.

Before the reboot, I was in a Funk. I was just going through the motions and not enjoying life. Just 10 days into the reboot and all that seemed to change.

Projects around the house that should have been done months, ago - I did them and enjoyed doing them.

Before, if I had the opportunity to go back to bed and sleep more, I would do it. I would hit the alarm clock's snooze button incessantly. I needed at least 10 hours of sleep to feel ok. The weekends were for sleeping. I would sleep until noon, if I could. Sometimes till 1pm. Now, I sleep less and wake up feeling good and refreshed. I even want to do things in the morning instead of just sitting in the front room, waiting for the fog in the brain to clear. On weekends, now, if I sleep past 10am, I am now angry at myself. It feels like I have wasted some of the weekend.

My wife says that I snore just a little, now. I used to be a record holder, she says. Funny thing is, she says that it is too quiet, now and it takes her longer to fall asleep without the noise.

Now, I walk 5 days a week between 1 to 1 1/2 miles. Before the reboot, I dreaded walking because I knew my back would hurt and I would sweat some. This feels liberating. It is so great to walk and your legs feel like feathers.

I look back and think about how much that I have missed because I was FSND. Just last year, I cancelled hiking in October because I knew how painful it would be. I was so out-of-shape, I knew that I could not do it physically. I look at the same thing that I cancelled last year and with this reboot, I could go hiking, now and do it !

My cholesterol was ok before my reboot, now it is great. My sugar was pre-diabetic, it is normal, now. My blood pressure was high and I was on meds for it. My blood pressure is normal, now and I am off my meds.

And not to forget about it - the weight loss is incredible. I am down two pants sizes, and my winter coat fits.

Before, I would go to my weekly weight loss class( TOPS ). It gets frustrating going to this class and all you do is gain, gain, and gain. Now, I am loosing and it feels good to go to class.

With my reboot, it seems that I am more lucid, I have more patience, my energy is soaring, my confidence is high and I feel at peace.

What the best has been ? I am able to be a better husband and a father for my family.

For anyone starting on a reboot, I have this advice:

    - Do a 15 day plan outlined on this site. Ease into the full reboot by eating/juicing and then into full juicing.
This is much easier to adjust to and you will still lose Weight.

    - Listen to your body. Doing the reboot past 15 days, your body will require additional nutrients.
Determine the amount of vitamins/minerals in your fruits and veggies. If needed, take vitamins.
If your fruit/veggie mix lacks protein take vegetable protein power.

    - Eat when needed. Sometimes, the juice leaves you feeling empty.
When needed, I will have steamed cauliflower, brussels sprouts, broccoli or mushrooms with my dinner juice.
It leaves you full and feeling content.
There was one day that I just didn't feel good even after all my daily juices so I ate a lot of fruit and veggies.
After that, I felt great. This is what my body needed !

    - Electrolytes. Keep in mind that the veggies you use, may not have the salt the body needs.
Read nutrient facts and determine this for yourself.
Electrolytes = calcium, potasium, sodium and magnesium.
If these get out of balance, you will feel it and depending how out of balance, you could be in a world of hurt.

    - Work with your Dr. Tell the Dr. what you are doing. Hopefully, the Dr. will support you.

Now, I move on to the next 30 days of my reboot and I am looking forward to the results.

Please, take care and I hope you have the results juicing that I have achieved......

A reboot is life altering !

The scale stills loves me. Another 1 LB down for a total of 35 LBS :-)

Today was my weight loss group meeting. I received an award for being the best loser for the month of January. I also get the take home the best loser of the month trophy. I will love seeing that everyday. I am not giving this trophy up. The month of February will be mine, also. Now, March - when I have already completed my 60 days, will be tougher for certain to keep this trophy.

I should have went for my walk earlier in the day. By the time that I did, the weather had dipped down to 19 degrees with a biting wind. Even with that, I loved the walk.

I look forward to where I will be at the end of my 60 days. The additional weight loss will free me even further and give me more of my life back.

Take care and keep drinking your juice......

I think that the gravitational constant has changed under my bathroom scale. My weight keeps dropping every morning. The gravitational pull must be lessening each day. The only explanation for it ;-)

I am down another 1 LB for a total of 36 LBS lost :-)

I tried my best, today, to talk myself out of my daily walk. I said to myself - Its too icy outside, it just snowed, its too cold, its too windy. Finally, I said - don't be a wimp. As I started out on my walk, I did something that I haven't done in a very long time. My energy just told me to do it. I actually ran for a couple hundred yards. Wow ! And then through my walk, I did it a few more times. I look forward to my next walk and I will see, if I can run a little longer.

Take care and I hope that juicing gives you the energy to starting running, also......

    Another 1/2 LB, today - Total 36 1/2 LBS :-)

Today, I went sledding. I can't remember the last time that I went sledding. I must have been a kid the last time. It was fun. Even the walk up the hill was not a burden. I love it ! I am loving that this reboot is allowing me to do the things that I couldn't have for a long time.

Even with the great things, today - Today was somewhat hard to get through. I wanted some real food. Even though, I had some spinach with lunch and mushrooms with dinner, it just wasn't enough. Somehow, I survived, yet another day. Hopefully, tomorrow, I won't even think of tangible food.

Take care and I hope you juicing day goes well......

Well, I gave into temptation Saturday night and I really paid for it on Sunday. I had four beers. At the time, they were really good. On Sunday, I woke up and felt bad most of the day. I craved carbs and had to have some Yaki soba and granola. Later on Sunday, I had some chicken wings.

Its kind of interesting. What I thought that I had been missing for over a month, now - I really didn't miss.

I have no regrets doing this, because it is out of my system, now.

Tomorrow, I will start juicing, again......

It was good to get back to walking, today. I did over 1 1/2 miles.

I have my second fellow at working starting a juice. He keeps seeing me doing so well, that he is going to give it a whirl himself. Just like I was before - He told me that he was tired or being tired and dreading the walking from the parking structure into work.

Yes - the subject is correct. Juicing has made me OBESE.

And yes, I blatantly stole this from GozerGozzerian( a.k.a. Brian H. )

After losing 40 LBS, my BMI is now 39, which makes me obese. I hated the label of morbidly obese.

I am good with being obese for now.

Although, I am looking forward to being Overweight and then down the road - Normal weight.

Day 38 was Valentines Day. This day went well and I was the big looser at my weight loss club with a total weight loss of 5 1/2 LBS for the week.

    Intermission: Friday, Saturday and Sunday

On Friday, I enjoyed the Post Valentines day party that we hosted with lots of Asian foods( Filipino, Chinese and Japanese )

Saturday and Sunday - I still had amnesia.

Day 39 - Back on track and an all juice day

Day 40 - Good to be back on track.

Only 3 more LBS to undo the damage that was done Friday - Sunday :-O

Got back to walking and it felt good.

O.K. - I need to complete this with no more amnesia.

Take care and learn from me ! See what sacrifices that I made for all of you ;-)

I weighed in a little while ago and I only need 1 more LB to go to break even from the weekend's carnage.
I think that I can do it. If I can, I'll break-even from last Thursday's weigh-in at my weight loss group.

Today, was a good day of solid juicing. Feeling good.

Note: For those of us who are doing the long juice fasts - don't freak-out when you start eating solid foods.
You will probably gain 5 - 7 LBS in a couple of days. This is NOT from gaining fat weight.
This will come from water storage and the food being processed in your system.

Looking forward to tomorrow and continuing the juice.

Take care all and enjoy the benefits of good health provided to you by juicing......

For the month of February at my weight loss group, I have lost 16 LBS or more. I am so happy about that and my group members are totally blown away by my results.

For the month of February, I was the best loser for weight loss in my weight loss group.

For the past week, it has been hard to stick to the plan. I know that the plan will yield incredible results. I need this last solid week to see the plan through.

I have been juicing and following the 15 day plan.

It seems like there is sufficient calories from the juice taken, salads, etc to sustain weight.
