• Why I've Joined Reboot with Joe: Chronic fatigue syndrome. Hypothyroid. Gluten intolerance. Gained 50 pounds in 2 years because of these. Need to loose 20 pounds to be in a healthy weight range. Got the fatigue and thyroid under control now. Have a wedding coming up in May 2014 and I would love to get back into a healthy size so I can rock a gorgeous dress I have in mind!

    Started another 15 day Juice with dinners fast on February 15th. Day 5 now! Doing great, although food temptations galore! Pretty bad detox headache yesterday too (probably because of all the sugar I had been eating as of late.. Valentines Day will do that!). I'm juicing, and keeping my dinners to only plants paired with beans, grains or fish as the protein. 3/4 of my plate must also be plants, and I try to add olive oil as a good fat to help me digest the fat soulable vitamins.Hope it looses me the last 10 pounds!!

    I too am dealing with fatugue because of what drs have called "fibromyalgia type pain" It has been a long 5 months dealing with this and I am thinking juicing might be my next step to heal myself. I am also getting married in May!! Yay for us! Could you share any ideas on what juicer to get or how to get started? I want to feel as best as I possibly can for our big month of May! Thank you for giving me a little inspiration!

    Keeping it off (around 187-182 depending on water weight) even with lots of eating! Learning to love how my tastebuds have changed! Things I used to love that were bad for me now taste bad, and things that are good for me that I used to dislike I now like the taste of better!! Woohoo! Chronic fatigue is not nearly as potent as it was before either!! I even bought my wedding dress at the size I was trying to loose weight for.... and it was too big!! I now have to order it in the next size smaller! Wedding is 4 months away so hopefully one more reboot will get me to my goal weight of 175lbs! Hmmm but when to start it.......? Exodus 23:25 ESV You shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.

    Doing well with diet. Been eating food mostly for last 5 days. Juicing with 1 meal for 30 days was a complete success! I went from 197 lbs to 185 pounds! WoooHoooo! Thats 11 pounds the first round in october, then another 12 pounds this time! I was having no problem keeping it off through the holidays, until a few meals recently where the OFF switch never kicked on and I ate wayyyy more than I needed (I even felt sick, but couldnt stop, which is a normal trait for me when not juicing. Thank God I've only been eating healthy!).

    I need to be like Ruth and have leftovers to go in a doggy bag. I've always been trained to be a member of the "clean plate club" and it causes more problems because the OFF switch just doesnt turn on! Maybe the trick is to cut every meal in half no matter what...?

    Ruth 2:14……..She ate all she wanted and had some left over. Then in 2:18 ……..Ruth also brought out and gave her (Naomi) what she had left over after she had eaten enough..

    Oh my gosh this article is a must read! So true! I always knew I was addicted to junk foods as I couldnt stop eating them no matter how much I hated myself while doing it! This explains why! Junk food Addiction is real and how to handle it

    Day 18 of fast. Only lost 2 pounds in 2 weeks after stopping the juicing and 1 healthy meal a day, and going to only juicing.

    Bummer. I was good too!

    So, now I'm staring the healthy dinner again- but this time it will be ONLY fruits and veggies; no meats or grains or dairy!

    Had the Avacado Caprese salad from the main course recipe section. Was fantastic! New favorite I dont think I would have tried otherwise!

    Keep going everyone! Listen to your bodies!

    Day 7 everyone! Woohoo!

    Yesterday was my "last supper", and I admit I binged a little-- but only on healthy food so I dont count it as bad! Now instead of 3 juices and one meal a day I am ALL JUICE all the way!

    Stepped on the scale, and was surprised it said 192! Started this at 197 I believe, and considering I was eating one healthy meal a day (big meal) I am shocked I was able to loose so much! No hangover eaither! Although that could start now that I'm just juice.. We shall see!

    Today's juice for the weekend: Soul Shine Juice! 5-7 gala apples, 2-3 lemons or limes, 5-6 stalks celery, 1 cucumber, 1 head romaine lettuce, 1 head kale or spinach. One batch lasts most of the day, and it tastes pretty good for a green juice! It also is REALLY good for you. My last 15 day juice diet I did this one a lot and it helped me grow back my eyelashes I had lost and also took away the dark circles under my eyes!

    Hope you are all staying on the wagon!! This scripture has inspired me for today:

    Got the fridge cleaned out and fresh veggies and fruits bought for juicing! Check CHECK!

    Hoping to do a 30-day fast , with the first week including healthy dinners to help me adjust, on sunday Dec 1st, 2013!

    Heres to starting off 2014 healthy and happy! HUZZAH!

    PROGRESS NOTES: Completed 15 day fast in October. Went from 208 pounds to 196 pounds. Managed to keep it off for the most part. Now starting new fast Dec. 1st! Starting weight: 197 pounds. =)
