Hi Trish, welcome in my group '' buddy to buddy''. I'm glad to have you with us. You will see support, encouragement, and tips are always there when you need it. I want to wish you good luck on your reboot (Aug. 7). You can count on me to be there for you. When you have a chance, it would be nice if you can introduce you on the group wall so all buddies can welcome you. Were are you from, what is your goal for you reboot etc. I'm Canadian from Ottawa and my goal was to lose weight and mostly dropping down my meds. So far it's a real success for me. I don't have to take my fast insulin during the day and I reduced my night insulin from 46 units to 30 and keep on reducing it. I don't like scale but I can tell that I lost 20 pounds so far and 6 1/2 inches around the waistline. I feel way better. I don't juice only. Because of my diabetes, I decided to eat and juice plus a bit of protein (as per my specialist's advice). I do lose slowly but it's pretty much steady. I don't mind I know that I don't want a magic pill, I want to reach my goal in a safe and healthy way. So welcome and have fun. Don't feel shy, and please share what ever you want...I want you to feel like home. Bye

Hi Lizane, thank you so much for the warm welcome.I am so happy to have the support of everyone and look forward to getting to know each and everyone of you. I am a young 56 and have always been active.I hit a stumbling block about six years ago when the many miles of running (and numerous pairs of worn out sneakers),as well as 2-3 hour a day gym routines no longer gave me results. I was the virtual hamster on the wheel and could not regain my ground in good health. I started the journey of trying to find a good physician to help me unlock the key to this very disturbing problem. My weight was sky rocketing, cholesterol as well....I became borderline pre-diabetic(the gym workouts keep me from plunging into that disease although no helping with the escalating weight issue). I was becoming very discouraged and after being told by one of the physicians that I should just shut my mouth(in other words quit eating) I became even more discouraged. I have always been tough so I continue ...(let me add to this in a bit) I am having a driver/keyboard issue and my letters are jumping into other words and paragraphs so its taking forever to complete this. On the phone with Sony now

HI, My name is Lizane, I'm French Canadian, I'm married, have two children and now have a grandson and a little girl on the go. I'm 45 years old, diabetic on insulin and overweight. I decided to create this group for people who are looking for someone to buddy with along the journey of rebooting. Sometime help, encouragement, story sharing or just a simple joke can do the trick in helping others. We might have different reasons why we do this but we are all in the same boat. Losing weight, wanting to be healthier, changing habits and learning everything that we are looking for is a hard working process. Please join me if you are there to kick the beast once and for all!

juicing in order to lose weight and create a new lifestyle, just because summer started doesn't mean we can't still get our beach bodies we've been dreaming of! Be flexible if you want to have smoothies then have them, if you need a bit of carrots or an apple to get you through your day, have it! Set a goal for yourself, surround yourself with supporters working toward a simliar goal, work hard, stay focused, and... ACHIEVE IT!

Let's help each other get our boot camp bodies back! Let's have the honor, courage, and commitment to stick to this program and get real, awesome results! Here's a little about me and why I'm creating this group. I was always a chubby kid growing up, and I've always had a large appetite. I used to eat to cope with stress as a teen, and the second half of my high school experience was spent brutally dieting in order to lose enough weight to join the military. I succeeded in this, and kept the weight off through diet and exercise throughout my Navy contract. I have since gained all of the weight I lost back, which is why I'm here. I am now looking to get back into my boot-camp shape again. It's been a few years since I truly motivated myself to diet and exercise, and I'm looking forward to a liberating new experience with the Reboot program.

Lose weight, get healthy, whatever your goal is, lets do it together Plan for the rest of July is to eat lots of vegetables and eliminate all the bad foods, to get ready for the reboot. Just like Joe wrote in his book. The reboot will start on August 1st 2014.

This group is for anyone who wants to do a serious juice fast for the entire month of September. My only request is that there be absolutely NO FOOD TALK. (Juice ingredients are perfectly fine.). If someone is struggling, it can run them right off the rails - and we don't want that. Whether you're young or old, timid or bold, have much to lose or a little....or just want to clean up your body, mind and spirit...ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE.
