• About: My name is Suzi, I live in Central Florida, I'm considered morbidly obese (UGH!), I am a nurse and a part-time student. My patients are my passion and I tend to give them every ounce of me....I have lost me along the way to this place where I don't even recognize the person in the mirror. Two of the nurses that I work with have told me that I need something else to occupy my time and attention other than my patients and I thought; what about me. If I put even 1/2 as much time into ME, I would have a life. I could at the very least consider dating, going out, being around people again. GOAL: Find the real me, I know she's in here somewhere!
  • Why I've Joined Reboot with Joe: I have watched the movie several times and I know that with some support and encouragement, I can do this! The juicing part isn't the hard part for me, it's the finding a support group that will push me to keep going when things get rough.
  • Favorite Juice? Kale, cucumber, pineapple, green apple, celery, lemon
  • Food temptation? snacks

Hi! My name is Suzi and somewhere along the line, I lost ME. I have been a yo yo'er over the years, losing, gaining, losing less, gaining more!

I watched FSAND about 9 months ago and have watched it 4 times since. I started juicing almost immediately. Since I'm not a breakfast person and I didn't want to be self-sabotaging, I went for the sweeter tastier juices first (also the highest in calories LOL). But after the first week or so of juicing carrots, ginger, oranges, lemons, berries (Not a lot of just, but some good flavor); I tried the "Mean Green" Dun Dun DUNNNNNNN. It wasn't too bad. Definitely an acquired taste, but after a solid week of drinking mean green, I couldn't go back to drinking the sweeter juices. And a bonus to this was that my taste buds had changed, my body was craving green juice.

When I saw the 3 Day Reboot, I figured I would give it a big girl go! My goals are to lose weight, I have 100#'s to lose. I know I'm in here somewhere! Get off my blood pressure meds, back to a normal functioning weight, and I think I may try my hand at a relationship this year! I have been single for 5 years and would like to have someone that loves me for me....well maybe someone that can love the normal average size me. I don't even like myself at the size I'm at, I couldn't expect anyone else to like the look of me!

Anyone that is interested in sharing a longer journey than the 3 day reboot, hit me up! I'm definitely in!

This group is inspired by all the amazing people I have met in this community who, like me, have or had 100 lbs or more to lose when starting this journey with our wonderful Joe Cross:) There are special challenges in this world for those of us who are "morbidly obese" and there are some incredibly inspirational people around here conquering those challenges every day. Come be inspired and inspiring!
