    Feeling great today! Blueberry smoothie for breakfast. Carrot, cabbage, broccoli, tomato, green pepper soup for lunch. Added raw garlic to the soup to fight the candida. Two bottles of water so far. Oh, a piece of fresh coconut. Does wonders for the muscle spasms. They are gone!

    Learned today that the chicken my doctor tells me I need for protein can make inflammation. The idea of juicing was to get rid of the toxins and inflammation. Was eating a meal with a little fish or chicken in it. Not doing that today and I am feeling less inflammation.

    Have not used pea protein or spirulina. Thinking if I need to I will use pea protein if I get weak. But my blood glucose has been great today. So happy this juicing has leveled off my blood glucose.

    Read about how purple potatoes are good for ridding oneself of inflammation. May try that also. Thinking about making some beet juice. ugh! Oh my but I hate that stuff! Love to eat beets cooked. Not a fan of it juiced. lol

    Taking the antifungal as prescribed. Hoping the little fruit I consume doesn't kick the candida back up. It is bad enough already.

    Wonderful day as the sun is shining and it is beautiful out. Birds are chirping and my spirit is lifted. So wish this candida would die and leave me alone. Am encouraged by Dan that it will go away with juicing.

    Well, going to go now and juice!!!! Hope all juice buddies have a great day.

    Having a great day today. Blood glucose was in normal range! Blood pressure good! Still itching from the candida. Alternative Health specialist gave me Diflucan for a few weeks. I woke up and drank my grapefruit juice and bottle of water. Went out in the beautiful sun for a while and then juiced my carrot, celery, and cucumber juice. Have already drank three of my water for the day and three of my juice. Had light meal for dinner. Feeling better. So wish I could get the tracker to work for me. Oh well, a notebook will work too.

    Feeling pretty good this morning. Have had my juice this morning and my water. My grandson is coming today. I am going to try to get him to love the fresh juice. A little at a time. Trying to get the family to at nutritiously. After my kids left home they got into fast food and prepackaged foods and it is hard to get the grandkids to eat vegetables.

    Thinking about taking my grandson swimming today. Too cold to go out bicycle riding! Hate to think of bacteria in a inside swimming pool though. Ugh! lol

    Have a wonderful day. I am going to! Nothing like having your grandkids to spend time with!

    Feeling great this morning. Read where adding lemon to the green juice with another fruit will cut the bitterness of the green vegetables. Going to try this now. I love the carrots. Not so much the beet greens or broccoli. lol Working on it!!!!

    I finally received my Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead dvd. Watched it and really enjoyed it. I have done well today. I have, however decided I am going to have to eat a meal a day plus the juice. Maybe I don't have the willpower to just juice yet but I have read posts where others have tried and failed and tried again and again before making it. So, I am not going to beat up on myself any longer. I read something of what Joe Cross said about we will still lose eating fruits and vegetables but not as quickly as with juice.

    I just could not drink the beet juice. Nor the mixture the way I was preparing it. Today I got up and juiced a grapefruit. It was lovely, just the grapefruit alone. Later on I juiced carrots and celery alone and it was great. Then I juiced a tomato and put a little salt in it. It was great. For snack I drank a blueberry smoothie made only of blueberries and 1/2c almond milk. I fixed up a pot of vegetable soup but was not too keen on it. Ate a bowl. It had only broccoli, cabbage, tomato, celery, green beans, and some peas in it.

    Feel pretty good today. Not going to look at the scale anymore for a while. Get too frustrated. Read again about the plateau and was told it can last up to a month if you have certain conditions. As I had hormonal imbalance, thyroid dysfunction, and am stressing a lot I guess I can expect some plateau. Main thing is I am not going to give up even if I have to tweek my juices and have a cooked meal a day for a while.

    I also read where at Camp Reboot they consume from 1200 to 1800 calories a day. I am thinking I was not getting the right amount of calories and I was mixing foods that I just could not stand the taste to consume. Have mixed and thrown out some this week I just couldn't drink. But the green stuff is growing on me. Just don't add the beets!! And hold the broccoli unless it is a soup. lol

    Since this journey is my own I guess I will fail some and win some until I finally make it. At least I am not going to any fast food, or bringing any prepackaged foods into my home and eating them. My cupboards are cleaned out and my refrigerator and freezer has only whole raw and frozen foods in it now. I am so proud of myself. lol

    Yes, I know many of you have just started the juice ONLY and made it the 60 days right off the bat. I just couldn't do it. When I went to my Dr. she said I need to take it a little slower so that is what I am trying to do. I feel like a failure when I see others who can do the juice only right away but I can feel and see the change in my body with what I have accomplished so far.

    My rash has gone from my elbows. I do not have the red rash full of scale looking stuff on my face. I can breathe without taking Ventolin and prednisone. I am not taking any methotrexate or pain killers. My clothes are loose even if I don't see the enough pounds coming off to make me happy.

    I know this is long but it is my documentation of my own journey. Soooo................

    I understand about not feeling good. Not so long ago I did on feel well, but I started eating healthy and fast forward 15 years, I dropped over 65 lbs. and managed to keep most of it off. I still have weight to lose because I struggle all the time but this choice you've made is called 'health' and it's solely 'your health' and in a few days you will reap the benefits. Find a juice you can tolerate and keep the 'rainbow' in mind for the day when making them. You are not alone! We are all in this together sweet lady :*) G'Day, Vickie

    (lol, loved that movie, so couldn't resist the likeness in name).

    Weight loss? What day are you on? Dont forget that the first few days will see water loss as opposed in many cases to fat loss. A great incentive regardless to continue on.

    And,re the scales, I just weighed in weekly... then no frustrations. Our body will hold onto weight for many reasons including plateaus, protecting itself from starvation, hormones, water retention, etc. Just ensure you are drinking the correct amount of juices and water. (Clue: if your urine is not clear, more water is needed).

    I was obese on the BMIchart... now considered just overweight (my BMI is 28... so still working to get to 25). And yes, the good news is that inflammation plus many other sicknesses will ease/disappear. Even so, you must train your mind to think differently e.g., to move more, to eat only ''clean'' foods,to maintain your water intake... it will come together - esp when you start seeing the results.

    I think I started on February 23. Not sure. Memory fails me. I have only lost 15lb but it fluctuates. Sometimes it says I am up two lbs. Sometimes it says I am down two lbs. My BMI is so high. Don't exactly remember it either but it is so high I am ashamed of it. I read posts and I don't think I am losing as fast as everyone else. But to be honest I am probably not as active as they are. When I started this I could hardly walk and would be out of breath just going from my bedroom to the bathroom or kitchen. I have come a long way but it seems like nothing when I see how much others are doing. I keep reminding myself that everyone is different and I can see I am getting better every day. Beating this food allergy/candida yeast seems to be impossible. I am wondering if it is parasites as I read about that on here somewhere.

    Drinking lots of water. Drinking coconut water. Make either a small side salad or a skinny soup sometimes. Drink the green juice but it really makes me sick to think of it anymore. I have to add fruit and then my throat itches and my eyes swell. I just can't take the green stuff without some fruit in it. lol But the funny thing is, if I don't drink the green juice with some fruit juice in it, I crave it.

    Today, I am itching all over. But I feel good emotionally and that is a real plus! I am trying to make juices with all the colors in them. It just doesn't taste like a FEAST without the fruit. lol

    Oh Maxine, I have a question.... Why does my scale sometimes say I am down 12lb and sometimes it says I have lost 15lb? Is this a water weight thing? I just don't see how I can be off two or three pounds a day. Confuses me and frustrates me.
