Hiya Simon. Yeh, I felt the same about not wanting to eat food after my own 60 day total juice fast but in the end realised that juicing is only a kick-start to preparing the body for good health. And secondly juicing does not provide some extra important things we need like fibre, B12, iron...

Yes, maintaining is harder than juicing - in the beginning! But the skills learnt along the way was, for me, so worth it. I did a lot of research before my fast ended and found some great vegetarian and vegan sites. One of the bonuses that has come out of all this is that I now enjoy even more so making new creative plant-based and very yummy recipes. I also am comfortable in myself and in my knowledge now that if I occasionally eat something ''different'' - lol- I do so not only with commonsense in mind, but also know that aforementioned skills will keep me on track.... As will exercise and a happy demeanour.

Occasional check ups for blood, etc continues to prove good health.

    All will be good.

    DAY 81 LEFT 19
Wow so 19 days left. End of this month.

So i realised that eating is a state of mind. The closer i get to my D Day the more i want to eat. But as soon as i realised that my need to eat has disapeared.

Almost had a moment the other day when i wanted to eat something. I stoped myself before that happened.

SOOOOO 3 weeks my god its going quickly now. hope im ready. iv done tone of preperation and i hope that it is enough.

    Hiya SImon23

Congrats on getting so far. I hope all is ok. Believe it or not, Juicing - for me- ended up being the easy part; maintaining is harder. However if you have researched as mentioned I am very positive that this 2nd part of your lifestyle journey will not be as hard as once thought. As we often hear: knowledge is power.

    Hi Simon,

You are doing a great service to your body by juicing to return to good health and fitness. Fantastic job. When you mentioned earlier about feeling so good about your great results and losing weight, what came to my mind was the respect you are now giving to yourself.

Take care and have a wonderful day. Best regards. JFJ

    DAY 48 LEFT 52
    man this is awesome.
So there's always been this one spot in my room that wasn't easily accessible. its because i have a small set of draws that is blocking it. so someone skinnier than i could get passed it with no issue. as for me i would either move the draws out or pick them up.
So the other day without even thinking about it, i walked passed it without touching the draws.

Needless to say when i was in that spot i was in heaven.
To realize that i have done that much to be able to get to that spot. unbelievable.

Also been told by someone that i have slimmed down imensly and that i look to be at a perfect weight.

    DAY 46 LEFT 54
Since I can remember I have sucked in my stomach to hide my large belly.

As of today after looking in the mirror, I have decided that I will not be doing that anymore.EVER AGAIN

This is really weird that not even at 50 days and i'm now more comfortable then I have ever been that I can now actually stop sucking my stomach in.

Had someone say that I am looking more fit.

That compliment has made my day.

To also know that what i am doing is making such a positive difference is truly unbeleivable.

honestly i don't think there is a word to describe what i am feeling. it is out of this world. to finally change such a big habit that i have stuck to all my life has...brought me to tears.

Simon, you are such a good kid.. so positive and funny too :)

I probably shouldn't say this.. but oh well.. too late.. I think your old tummy was cute.. ;)

when I read the men's posts on this forum, I find I never realized that men are just as bothered as ladies are about their bellies.. :0

but now you are on your way to becoming a new man and a dynamo and we are happy for you !
