    okay, you asked.

RE toofers.. with baking soda and a fine powdered salt .. put in a pretty cup and dish it out with the brush for toothpaste.. there is no toothpaste out there that I've found that is good for you..I put it on the list with coconut water

haven't tried that blackened one, though.. don't even remember the name of it.. no matter.

I know that silica is used and a good thing and I do like it but my dentist said it might be too abrasive.. which means I'll have to decide for myself..

I keep a pretty spray bottle with listerine in it to spray my toothbrush with

I purchased a water filter for my shower, then a $35 flosser attachment made here in U.S. by a small family business, attached that to the filter, then attached the shower head to the flosser.. there's a switch that moves the water back & forth between the two. it's powerful..

then I on occasion use herbal healing drops on my teeth that do wonders.

but like exercise, the only ones that work are the ones you do

Tell Me about these Thickies, is it like a smoothie? Got a Nutribullet for myself at Christmas. My plan had been to do juice, smoothies and vegan soups since it is so cold!!!

a thickie can be a juice with avocado or banana & seeds blended in...or they can be even more substantial...check out thickies.com.... I tend to use jason vale recipes as my template...ironically i like very few of joe's recipes...which is a bit disloyal i know....its a shame they dont all team up to create a juicy community! i put half an avocado or banana & a flaxseed mix into container, then make the juice into the same container & then whizz with an immersion blender...on the lowest power poss to retain all the goodness. eeyore loves her nutribullet if you want to talk nutribullets.

i bought some seabass & salad, which i am really looking forward to. have had a green thickie ( broccoli, pineapple, lemon, spinach, kale, apple juiced, combined with half avocado and seeds to make thickie...delicious).

witha smoothie, you blend more of the ingredients i think...

let's chat on our walls. are you eating today?

I do luv my nutribullet! It's fab! Much better than my old blender. I put my juice and a quarter avocado in and blitz for 30 seconds for a nice and smooth thickie. Or i put in a cupful of frozen mixed berries, handful of spinach and a couple dollops of natural live yoghurt and blitz that, yum!

Yes raucous middle aged women are my favourite type, oh that's me! the Catholics do seem to know how to have a good time, there's always drinks at school functions. They seem like good people and some of them are good and a naughty too! Georgina, yes I get it.

I like being known there. And here.

Hi shoshi, thanks for checking in. Rough day today. Actually had a dinner tonight. I have been juicing for breakfast and dinner and eating a sensible lunch. Today was my first day back in the office. Had my juice early this morning and by the time I took my break for lunch I think my blood sugars had already hit rock bottom. Ate my salad with tuna, and haven't felt good since. Got home and the hubby made me some chicken and sweet potato. Just didn't think my system could handle the juice tonight. I will get back on track tomorrow. One good thing I did today....they had Krispy Kreme donuts brought into the office and they were still warm. I resisted and didn't have any, not even one single bite. Tomorrow is another day!!!

adjusting to workplace is very difficult, because we arent in control of the environment. my workplace is littered with biscuits & christmas chocolates. it may be necessary to tweak your regime a little. hv a think about what would be most fulfilling - to go home to a meal after a days work or to eat at lunchtime. thats if you have to do either or. remember to do what maximises your chances of success longterm. i would increase your juices tho..you should definitely be having a mid morn juice, lunch, afternoon etc....

another thing i have found useful - if things go awry, dont burden tomorrow with what you wanted to achieve today. re-route things right now. lets say i ate all those dunkin doughnuts...i can still make good the rest of the day, i dont have to write off the whole day.

look forward to hear how you get on today xx
