Today marked yet another new low for me! 96.1kg... 200lbs is just around the corner.. 90kg.. I haven't seen that other side of 200lbs since I was in my early 20's... my goal now is to get below the 95kg mark.. and put a comfortable distance between my weight and it.. so I don't ever climb beyond it again! In other news, my sons have lost around 25lbs combined on their juicefast, and my son told me via Skype yesterday, that he doesn't see a problem going the full ten day juicefast that they had originally planned.. in fact, he went on to say, he may take a day after that to eat a few regular meals, then go on another! Thank you Joe for helping me set my family on course to better health!!

    @ Rhaelia,

I am very happy to hear from you. And what a great birthday present having your family over. I am very positive you can continue on your positive path of health. And with such a healthy outlook you will succeed.

I started my 2nd reboot this time only 30 days two days ago. All going well. I think it is easier the 2nd time around because we have some much more information under our belt.

    Happy thoughts and happy juicing.

Everything is just fine with me! I am consistently under 100kg now, and have cut my medication back. My daughter and grand daughter will be here visiting at the end of May for three weeks.. So I am sticking to my juice fasting so I can be as small as I can be. I am trying to do this slowly, shedding 5kg or so, and then working on maintaining it. I don't ever wish to be over 100 again.. and I feel so much better about myself. Congrats on your 60 days! I know it is really hard to just juice all of the time. I will really be rejoicing when I get down under 90kg.. but there is time.. I will be 50 years old on May 16th.. if I don't make these changes now, I never will.. and it is my wish to be healthy.. I am married to the love of my life now, and I want to spend as much time as I can with him! =hugs= hang in there my friend!

So I went to my diabetes specialist on Friday.. and I am happy to say, she was impressed with my numbers. She is even talking about me cutting my medicine down to just a pill a day, for the rest of my life.. more of a preventive thing.. the pills I take are said to be good for your heart as well. So starting my week on an up note!! Loving my life..

I did it! Yay!! I broke out of the three digit weight! I weighed 99.8kg this morning! I think I will wait to cut back my medicine though, I want a comfortable cushion under 100kg. Positive thoughts

I know it has been a while, but I am firmly back on the wagon again! I quit my first juice fast on Jan 10th.. 30 days after I had started. My starting weight was 244lbs, and at the end of my juice fast I weighed 102.8kg. I took a break from my fast for about a month. I am happy to say, I managed to keep my weight off even though I was eating a regular diet. I have started a second juice fast Feb 24th. My starting weight was 102.0kg. So today is day 4 for me.. I have already lost four lbs. My weight this morning was 100.7kg. My goal is to stay true to my juice fast so I will be well under 100kg when I have to return to my diabetes specialist on the 14th of March. In some ways, this fast is easier and harder at the same time. At the end of the 30 days of my first fast, I was so sick of drinking juice. Green juices I have the worst time with. I drank one tonight with absolutely no fruit in it, nothing to sweeten it, and I found I could tolerate it a bit better. I hope everyone is doing well.. and I want to shout out to @Maxene.. thanks for always being there for me!

    @ Rhaelia,

How are you travelling? Is all good?

lol, went for laps around the school football field this morning and the gardeners turned all the sprinklers on... so jumped like a rabbit out of there quick smart and ended up on the road. A win-win as we will be jogging/walking/running/hopping/skipping - lol- on the road in the upcoming Walk for Education,so I need to get used to that surface.

@ Maxene Hey there, yes.. all is good with me, I decided to wait a little longer to jump back into a juice fast. I thought I was ready, but had some stress pop up.. on a good note, I am maintaining my weight, and I have even lost some more each day in the last couple of days.. I am being kinda quiet on the forums, because I am not in an actual fast at the moment.. I will get back to it.. I need to finish losing this weight, and it would come off even faster if I go back onto a serious fast : ) Happy your doing so well! It is wonderful to hear from you.

    @ Rhaelia,

Hi, just after I contacted you on Saturday my internet went down. Too much sand, I surmise damaging the connections - which was proven right when the technician arrived this evening!

Methinks the reason you lost weight without juicing was due to changing your eating style. The body gets used to one style, then when you have something different the metabolism goes into ''wow, get this out of my body'' type thing. In other words the non-juice stuff tricked your metabolism into coming alive again. Does that make sense? Regardless a big congrats!

Will be back into jogging tomorrow now that the rain has eased up; yes, it actually does rain every so often in the desert! :) The Dubai marathon starts around Jan 24, so I will think about it. Might die after 100 steps, but hey... I will think about it. :)

I am one day behind you: day 29

See you on here again just as soon as I have a breather from school. And am sure you will have more positive news for me.

    Happy thoughts and happy juicing.
