  • About: 30 year old female, severely overweight, sick a lot.... BMI of 40... That about sums up my health. Looking forward to revamping my biological gears so I can feel good, crave the good foods, and give my immune system a boost.
  • Why I've Joined Reboot with Joe: Aside from wanting to loose weight as I have a BMI of 40, I continuously get sick with the flu, cold, stomach bug, pretty much any virus going around, have PCOS, and feel generally unwell a lot of the time. I use to be Paleo and it worked wonders for over a year but once I fell off the wagon, I wasn't able to get myself to eat properly because of the cravings. I felt juicing would be better for me rather then the Master Cleanse juice fast that I have done in the past.
  • Favorite Juice? Tomatoe, Celery, and parsley!
  • Food temptation? ... big list :D

Hey Good Morning OtawaGal. Just wanting to say Hello and see how things are going for you. I'm in a holding pattern at the moment. Mixing Eating and Juicing which for me is the hardest part. Hoping to lose a few more LBs over the next 10 days. I'm ast 65 off so far.

Wow, congrats!! I went off the juicing when on vacation and just started up again yesterday. Today is my day 2 for another 40 days. I had completed 20ish days, and lost 20 pounds but it rounded to 14 pounds lost as I started eating again. However, I think the weight back on wasn't gained as much as body salt/food in belly weight :)
Good luck on the next 10 days!

How long was your last reboot? Mine was about 20 days. As you read, my holidays completely messed me up too :P
However, did find some neat carribean foods I can eat once I'm done the fast that are very healthy :)

Ate food today. Will still do the fast but might add in a few paleo foods while I am on vacation. Stomach was a bit sore from the food though.

1/3 the way to 60 days! on day 22 now of just juicing, day 30 of eating fast like. So far, 22 pounds lost :) I am averaging 2 pounds every 3 days. I usually go several days with no weight loss, then I lose a pound every day in a row for a couple days, then repeat. Feeling pretty good about it. Going to Florida this week. Might end up eating salad on way there because I won't be able to bring drinks with me on the flight, but if I can buy drinks, i will!

So I am just over 1/4 the way on the journey towards 60 days! doesn't feel like I have been juicing that long. Been tired lately, and my weightloss has been slow but I have increased my juice, water and coconut water so even if I don't lose weight as fast, at least I am detoxing. :)

Save the other half of the banana, cucumber, and avocado for a second Shamrock Smoothie. Ingredients : 1/2 banana 1/2 cucumber 6 romaine leaves 1/2 avocado juice of one lemon 2-4 oz./60-125 ml coconut water ice cubes, optional Directions : 1.) Wash wash cucumber and romaine well. 2.) @OttawaGal,

I too received negative news at work last week, but didn't want to spoil what took me so long to achieve i.e.,health and weight loss, so instead turned to support on this site. My answers came and now I find that what happened is meaningless. I am very proud of you too for making the same choice. Thumbs up!
