CELEBRATING HEALTHY CHOICES: Welcome to ALL rebooters (new; and those who have been with us for a longer time. Also those who are maintaining or transitioning as well as total juicers and modified rebooters). This is a wall on behalf of Joe (and his staff) who have helped thousands gain back their health and happiness by showing us that plant based food matters. Success stories and thank you/s galore. ... I will be the first to write on this wall.

I'd like to get to know other people in the loughborough area as i am planning to start the juicing in 2 weeks time. at the moment i have been on lighterlife and lost 2 stones 4 lbs in 8 weeks but cannot continue with this after an operation on the 9 july. during the recovery i have to start taking in more than the 500 calories daily that i am on now. i watched "fat, sick and nearly dead" last month, and i have been reading everything and anything about juicing, healthy diet and people with sugar and gluten intolerances since. I was diagnosed Coeliac in January, after a year of digestive problems coming to a head (after years of diarrhoea and constipation) and several severe attacks of debilitating stomach pain. I decided to to lose weight in a bid to find out what i was eating that was making me so ill, not just the gluten. i'd like to hear from anyone who will be able to give me some support when start my reboot in two weeks time..... after the operation, i will need to "eat" so my question is, will juicing be enough for my body to recover from the surgery? (bone being removed from arthritic thumb - 4 month recovery period) i do not want to start to eat normally again (not least because i want to introduce food groups slowly so I can see what i can and cannot tolerate) as i still have 3 stones to lose but I don't want to hinder my body's recovery either. will i need to supplement with protein or should i eat protein foods such as eggs, meat, cheese? can i do this with juicing? my plan was to juice for a month initially.....
