    Still going! I think it has been about 2 weeks? I forget when I started. I have hit the cruise button and am finding it quite easy to stay on track. I do still sit and plan meals in my head but not as much as before. Today is a treat day and I am having something fruity. Note to self, I see better resultas and have more energy on green juice..it is even starting to grow on me.

    Finally feeling good today. Really good, I have been putting a dribble of coconut water in every glass of water I drink and I have switched to green juices only. Hoping the taste of cucumber juice will grow on me.. I think the carrot, apple, beetroot juce is too much sugar for me. Somehow gained a pound over night but I am wondering if that was something to do with electrolytes. Either way, the scale is going back in the box and I am just going to be fine with the fact I feel amazing. My eyes have got bigger and my face has lost it's puffiness. who needs a scale??!

    Day 7 - I have survived a week. I bought some coconut water today. Figure that might give me some more energy. Still starving just slightly less so. 13lbs gone!

    Day 4 and I have lost 9 lbs! Somehow I managed to not have any headaches or other detox symptoms which was fabulous. I was of course famished the whole time and am still but that I can handle. I was going to go for a walk this morning but I have decided to use my exercise for more beneficial purposes and will clean my apartment instead.

    So today I begin my juice fast again. First juice of the day will be carrot apple and lime as that is all I have in the fridge. It is a rainy day, the best kind of day for staying in bed and eating chips. sigh....

    It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere you go. For many of us it's not the toys, parades and decorations that get us in the end...it's the goodies everywhere we look. It's at the staff parties, friend's parties, family get-togethers, the magazine covers at every checkout, the cooking shows on the Food Network..the list goes on and on. This group is open to anyone and everyone who wants to get through the Christmas season (that seems to get longer every year). Any food other than plant-based is NOT to be discussed. Mentioning anything in your plant-based diet will be fine. It's hard enough for us as it is with all that unhealthy food out their calling our names without reading about someone eating it or even thinking about eating it. If you'd like to join me for the month of December, please do.

    My body likes it when I'm juicing, so January 1 will be Day-1 of 30 or so. If you would like to join me (a seasoned juicer) for the first month of the year, please become a member of the group and commit to the month. I'd originally planned on starting on the second, but why wait. The first of the month sounds good to me. My only request is that food is not talked about. Retraining the brain is key and talking about the food we used to eat, want to eat or did eat isn't beneficial to anyone. You can mention the ingredients that go into your juice and what kind of protein powder you may be using, but other than that, all talk of food is out. I'd love to have you join me in this challenge.
