  • Why I've Joined Reboot with Joe: I joined Reboot after watching Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead because it gave me hope that I can finally lose the weight I have tried to lose for over 30 years without success. I want to be healthy, off of high blood pressure medication, and able to put my shoes on with ease. I want to be able to shop for clothes I like and not for whatever happens to fit. I love my family and would like to enjoy my time here with them. I want to be active again. I am tired of being tired and struggling to do simple things. I want to run. I want to be around people without them judging me for my size. I want to be seen for who I am and not for the size I am.
  • Favorite Juice? orange juice
  • Food temptation? pumpkin pie or banana bread

Hello everyone. I am new to juicing and am excited to get started. I am a planner so for the next week I am getting everything lined up to start off right. I do not want any distractions to keep me from succeeding. I need to lose over 100 lbs and have tried everything. I am going to stick with this for 60 days and see the results. I am expecting to be healthier, happier, and to lose weight.

I noticed that there are constant reminders not to try to juice bananas which makes sense. What about avocados? It would seem to be the same texture so I am assuming they should be blended like a banana. Is that correct?

Any tips to help a newbie along? I am desperate to find something that works. I am so tired of being tired and having difficulty moving. Inside I feel active but my body won't cooperate with my desires to move. I need to get rid of the weight so I can be active and enjoy my soon to be 8 grandchildren. I am only 55 (56 this month). I am too young to be stuck in a sedentary state due to the extra 125 lbs I have to carry around.

Start date is for October 16th. I am counting the days and prepping as best I can.

Come be inspired and inspiring!

The purpose of this group is to bring like minded Christians together to fast and pray! Post your successes, scriptures, prayers, questions and your not so successful days. We are not here to debate scripture or religion but to encourage our brother and sister through prayer as we work on our gluttonous behavior.
