Day 8: Felt a little yucky yesterday. Had to go to a sorority gathering at a local Chinese buffet. Brought my juice along and explained what I was doing. The place was great and allowed me to sit with the girls. The waitress brought me some water with lemon. Gave her a $5.00 tip since she was working so hard with a huge group (30). Most of my "sisters" were supportive however one, who is in my chapter, got on me about juicing telling me that it wasn't healthy, I'd be sick, the weight would come right back on.... It really hurt and I guess I was rude, but I told her to look in the mirror...she is morbidly obese, was just diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and is still stuffing her face with junk. I have watched her take "little portions" of calorie/fat laden desserts and eat tons of chocolate candy because it's "diet" and "okay". Guess I just resented the fact that she felt she had the right to criticize me. Guess in the end healthy living and doing it for me is what matters. Came home and had a headache and stomach was a little queezy. Knew it was the toxins talking. Drank more juice, went to bed and woke up today feeling wonderful. I had cantaloupe juice for breakfast and will continue my journey. I think I'll start posting once a week instead of daily. I feel strong and know I can make it. JUICE ON!

Day 7, feeling great, watermelon juice for breakfast and juiced a whole bunch of goodies for lunch, apples, kale, celery, spinach, carrots, beets, chard, basically a smorgasbord of veggies. Lovin' the juice... Weight 222 and going Getting ready for my Vegas performance in September. Plan to bring my juicer along with my costumes, jewelry and makeup. If anyone knows of some good juice bars on the strip, I'd appreciate the heads-up.

    JUICE ON!!!
