Well today I am feeling pretty good, after 10 days of juicing I have lost 14lbs!

I have an underactive thyroid so have been juicing with cellery, cucumbers, apples, green beans, lettuce, peppers etc as my greens and mixing with anyother veg and fruit as I can get. Drinking also water and green tea.
I've never really been a fruit & veg person, more a snacker on all the things you shouldn't eat, but must admit that I'm enjoying experimenting.
I am only 10 days in, not sure if I'll do 30 or 60 days, but I have a lot of weight to shift.
    Was 262lbs, now 248lbs.
I am doing this for health reasons, a couple of years back I suffered with really bad upper back pain, which changed my life, over the last few years I have been trying to get my mobility back and have been improving by exercising and eating better, but this year suffered two bouts of inflamation in the knees, which have again have caused me to be off my feet. At this point I wasn't sure how much more I could take, and have been so down that when I saw Joe's film it gave me a ray of light, something so simple that can make a real difference.
I have got to the point in my life that I can't afford not to step up and take control of my eating, and I've spent too many years not being bothered, and have been suffering health wise because of it. I'm not sure how long its going to take me to get to a more healthier body, but this has really kick started my journey.

I am weighing and measuring every sunday, so will keep you posted. Juice On!

Let's start spring with a swift kick and do a reboot for the month of April. Our group began in March; some started and some left...but many stayed. This group is for anyone who wants to do a full juice fast. That means no solids are eaten OR talked about. If you feel that you need to be eating while juicing, there are other groups that have that as their focus. If you slip while on your reboot, just tell us that you slipped without going into specifics...and continue on. "Start by doing what's necessary, then do what's possible. Suddenly you're doing the impossible." St. Francis of Assisi
