  • About: Over the past 3 or 4 years I have become obsessed with nutrition. I am fascinated by the topic. I have been overweight since I was 6 or 7. I am 28 now. My whole life has been a huge struggle with weight loss. I feel like I have never been able to focus on or achieve anything else in life because my weight is always holding me back, it's always in the forefront of my mind. I have gotten very good at working out, but because counting calories isn't enough to lose weight and keep it off, I have always gained it back. Besides all that though, I am very interested in history, which goes hand in hand with the fact that I love to travel. I want to travel all over Europe to see history come alive. I also want to go to New Zealand to visit The Shire, lol.
  • Why I've Joined Reboot with Joe: I truly believe that this revolution that is going on right now encouraging holistic, plant based diets is what everyone needs to reverse obesity and other diseases. It makes so much sense. I was furious when I started doing a lot of research on the topic because it's such a simple, smart idea, but growing up in the 90's meant I grew up in the middle of "Don't eat fat at all! Eat these processed meals from the freezer section because they are low cal!!!" I believe I am still trying to get rid of that thought process sometimes.I am so excited to do this because I want my life to start getting better, then in turn help other people by teaching them all that I have learned.

    How did today go girlfriend? Weekends are hard because Husband wants me to have cocktails with Him and He usually grills. I told Him that October is pretty much a wash. He's not terribly supportive but He doesn't tear me down either. I'm pretty much my own ra-ra team. I was thinking about you because I had to go into town. I knew I wasn't going to fall down but everytime I left a store, I felt I should "reward" myself with food. Woof woof. What a nutter!
