I have fibro,CFS , thyroid issues, candida overgrowth, possible heavy metal toxicity,chronic active Epstein Barr, tremors, hair loss, anxiety, depression, etc. I am only able to eat apx 10 foods without it causing extreme burning throughout my body. I cannot tolerate gluten, corn, dairy, soy, red meat, nightshades. I have a new functional medicine dr that encouraged myself and my husband to start the 15 day juice fast. We are on day 2. I'm looking for other moms that are experiencing similar issues for support. I just want some quality of life back. I'm a young wife and mom. I'm praying this reboot helps in some way. My issues are a bit complex.

A group created for those of us caught in the toxic triangle of depression. A place where we can go to get help and information by talking to others that are going through the same thing. This is a 15 day Reboot for those of us who tried before and fell off the wagon. I first joined reboot with Joe back in September, but because of medical issues, I dropped out of my reboot. Well, I'm back. I am ready to do a 15 day Reboot. Is there anybody out there who wants to join me? I need all the help I can get. JT

Let's start spring with a swift kick and do a reboot for the month of April. Our group began in March; some started and some left...but many stayed. This group is for anyone who wants to do a full juice fast. That means no solids are eaten OR talked about. If you feel that you need to be eating while juicing, there are other groups that have that as their focus. If you slip while on your reboot, just tell us that you slipped without going into specifics...and continue on. "Start by doing what's necessary, then do what's possible. "I'M FED-UP WITH MYSELF" group is FED-UP with wearing girdles, Spanx and bras that cut our shoulders! We're sick of it! We are FED-UP with not being able to fit into our favorite outfit! We are FED-UP with making excuses, why we don't want to go anywhere! We are embarrassed if you really want to know the truth! We are FED-UP with gastro problems and rashes! We are FED-UP with our own excuses as to why we can't juice! We are FED-UP with feeling fat, fat, fat!!!!! This group is for anyone who wants to do a serious juice fast for the entire month of September. My only request is that there be absolutely NO FOOD TALK. (Juice ingredients are perfectly fine.). If someone is struggling, it can run them right off the rails - and we don't want that. From Septemer 14 until October 25, I'm doing the six-week challenge set out in Dr. Joel Fuhrman's book Eat to Live. I won't be weighing until I'm finished. Please join me in the next leg of my journey. The daily guidelines are: - 1 pound raw veg (minimum) - 1 pound cooked veg (minimum) - 4 fruit (minimum) - 1 cup cooked dried beans, lentils or legumes - 1 oz. unsalted raw seeds/nuts (maximum) - 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds To make this a holistic experience for myself, the six weeks will include increased exercise for my body, more reading for my mind and meditation for my spirit. If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you'll find an excuse. PLEASE...NO FOOD TALK THAT IS NOT OUTLINED IN THE EAT TO LIVE PLAN!
