Failed. Fail. Big fail yesterday. I ate for my son's birthday. So today, I begin again. Juice only. I will go back to Day 10 and hope my eating did not disrupt the cycle of fasting too badly.

Day 10. weight 232. Down 10 pounds from my beginning weight. Had 1/2 cucumber yesterday for a snack, otherwise all juice, all day. Continuing on.

Juice for breakfast. For lunch I decided to have broccoli. Just broccoli. I had it mostly fresh and a little steamed after I cooked some for the family for lunch. No salt or anything on it. It was so good and crunchy! For dinner I will have juice, but I have not been hungry at all since the broccoli. I wonder how this will affect my weight loss? Not that the weight loss is rapidly occurring anyway....

Hi Kerry! I don't know if this will help but you should try pouring your juice over ice with a little bit of water in a large container of sorts and just sipping on it throughout the morning. this might help with the hunger because you will be getting a constant supply of juice as you sip on it. don't give up and stay strong. maybe it's just going to take a little bit longer for you to get to that state where you're not hungry :)

Day 8. Back on track this morning. No weight loss, but no big surprise there. I had a stomach ache for the better part of the evening. Not used to solids. It's a new day and I will do the only thing I can do, begin again. Happy day everyone!

So, I fell off the wagon and ate 2 pieces of the kids gluten free, dairy free pizza. It could have been worse, I guess. It's hard making meals for the family. I get to have my dinner juice for breakfast and begin again. I may decide to eat some vegies along with. The broccoli and cucumbers look so good. I just don't know at this point. Tomorrow is a new day.

Day 7. Down one pound from yesterday. At 234 now. Feeling pretty good. Want to eat, even just raw vegies. I see people talking about that on these discussions and it tempts me. I don't know if that would be good or bad. Helped do fencing for alpacas yesterday and it was great being involved withe my animals and my farmstead. I know I need to be more actively involved in everything and find my confidence.

Day 6. Down another pound. Total of 7 lbs lost so far. I was hoping for more, but I'll take it. I found my old journal that recorded my last 31 day juice fast in 2013. I lost a total of 24 pounds then. Of course I did not keep it off. I did a 14 day water fast in 2014 and lost about 20 pounds and did not keep it off. I am afraid I will not keep it off this time either. I have not taken any measurements. I find it too depressing to look at my own body. I hope I can keep on this juice fast for longer...60 days at least. Maybe that will take me down enough I won't gain it all back. Of course I have to give up my comfort foods. There is no choice. I have to eat better, in spite of conflict with my hubby over what good food is. I need to find my own truth in diet and exercise.

How are you doing? I went for a long walk with my dog yesterday because I felt Some tension building up as well. I think it's all the extra time and energy juicing frees up and I am used to turning to comfort foods and eating. Stay strong :)

Doing pretty good. The exercise helps, I think.

Walked in place for 15 minutes to get some of the tension out. My mind is avoiding thinking about unhappy things.

A simple 30 day reboot!! Summer is closing in on us and I am ready to enjoy it with a fresh restart. Join me for a pre-surf, pre-beach juice fest (I live in Kansas but I have plans). If all goes well I plan to turn this into a 60 day reboot. Let's help keep each other motivated for this life changing event.
