  • About: I'm a 41 year-old mother of three girls. I bought a juicer because I had a bad case of TMJ once and couldn't eat anything for three days. Since then, I have stopped juicing; Until now.
  • Why I've Joined Reboot with Joe: I have seen what can be accomplished by juicing, and am excited to actually do an extended fast and start eating better. I would also like to pump more vegetables into my kids ;)
  • Favorite Juice? Spinach, Carrot and apples
  • Food temptation? Meat (any kind), and Chocolate

Day 8. I can say that I'm feeling normal starting from day 6. I realized that the exuberant amount of energy I had the first two days were part of my detox. As was the loose BMs. I really couldn't tell the difference until I got to day 6. I have been stuck on the same weight since yesterday, but I'm hoping that'll change as I keep going. I'm not hungry nor have any cravings. I do feel a rumble when its time to juice, but I guess that's normal.

Day 5: I had a rough time starting on day 3 at night. I was so hungry. But I realized that I hadn't had enough juice on day 3. I was losing two pounds a day until day then. On day 3 I lost 1 lb and on day 4 nothing. Yesterday I didn't have enough juice either, because I got a flat tire and had to wait two hours to get it fixed. I just didn't have enough time for juicing. I did have chicken broth both nights, because i was so hungry. I seem to have jinxed myself! I had no symptoms until day 3. Does this hunger go away?

OK. Its day three. I have not had any bad symptoms at all. I have even learned to notice when my hunger is actually hunger or not. This is amazing! Yesterday was a pretty easy day. The problem I'm having is sitting still. I couldn't get online yesterday because I had to do something, anything. I have lost three kilos (about 6 lbs) as of this morning. I think I can keep this up for more than 5 days. But, I'm taking it one day at a time.

For me the hunger has never been a problem. It's the memory of the taste of food. I've been addicted to food for so long I've really got a battle ahead of me!

Hi! How have you been feeling? The blood sugar adjustments can be rough at first. My body was so used to being fed all the time my average was above average! It gets better :)

Thanks 100blueviolets! I haven't had ANY bad symptoms. My sugar didn't drop because I had more juice. I had one loose stool on the first day, and that's it. No headaches, no crankiness, nothing.

Day One. Just had my morning juice (Spinach, Carrot, Tomato, Green Apple), and I'm feeling energetic. I almost feel like I'm my blood sugar is going to drop, though. Will check in later...
