• Why I've Joined Reboot with Joe: To have friendly support and to talk to others in the same position as my self. Due to a medical condition I was walking with a stick an in constant excruciating pain, but since juicing that pain has disappeared and I will forever grateful to Joe and his juice.

Hello to all the lovely sunshiners out there,

First of all can I say a big thank you to Tony for sharing his weekend with us, it really does help to know that we are not alone in our quest for juicing greatness.

Like Tony this weekend was yet another of family meals and not enough juice, we celebrated exam success for my daughter and new job for my son. I still stayed vegi but not healthy vegi, a fair bit of it was processed. I do feel that I have visited the fun side of town a little too often recently and need to rein back a bit, however I am making a concious effort not to look at food as good or bad just different types of nutrients. Also one of the things I stopped doing was stopping by here for help, guidence and inspiration! This is a definate no no for me, I need the community and have learned without it I am the only one holding myself accountable for what I eat or drink. Your group support means I feel part of a much bigger world with 150 people cheering me on to success .

Well here is the health update, sorry for rambling I am currently 20lbs down, which is great,! Clothes are fitting better now and I am wearing clothes I have not worn I'm a long time. So long they are almost back in fashion! I have no pain apart from the odd niggle which is amazing and I now go to the gym 3 times a week.

Back to juicing nearly all day except having the odd banana to help with bowles as recommended by the nutritionist and I also have the odd baked sweet potoe with salad.

Well that's the update over, I will make sure to check in daily with you all, no more excuses.

    JUICE ON !

Good Morning All, well what can I say about Thursday night, it was so inspirational and fantastic to hear Joe again. What was even more amazing is that he remembered me and introduced me to the audience. Joe talked about his transition journey and how he has bumps and blips along the way. He also talked about the strength of community and having around us wether it's online or in person. I said hello from the Sunshine Clubbe and gave him that hug you wanted me to.

Listening to him and talking to others at the event who have succeeded and are now transitioning or just eating sensibly was good, everyone was extremely supportive of each other. A few people recognised me from the 30 seconds I am on screen in FSAND2 and came to talk to me about my medical journey, which agin was great. Joe wrote in my book " thanks for being in my film" which was fab! He does seem genuinely interested in us, and taking the time talk to people means a lot.

There was one strange moment of the evening though, just about 10 minutes before the start, the two women sitting next to me went to the bar and ordered food, but not a salad they had fries and bread with mayo and ketchup and homous. Here we were about to have a talk on juicing and I was sat sipping my water sitting next to a bowl of fries! Bizarre!

You must go and hear Joe if you get the chance.

    Juice On!

I have done a 10 day reboot and felt fantastic, but now feel like my old habits are resurfacing. Eaten way too much and all wrong processed foods this weekend and feel absolutely terrible.
I need a buddy to keep me strong. Someone who doesn't mind being a sounding board. My problem is my family do not want to do this with me and I am cooking meals which are very unhealthy but I still want to eat them even though they make me feel ill. HELP!!!

Hi my name is Helen, I have been doing the 5:2 fasting diet since January and lost 30lbs but not really eating healthily in between. I saw Joe's video about a week a go now and have been rebooting since then. I have a way to go yet 60 lbs but have dropped 5 in six days so definitely doing a happy dance. I am living in the UK and my main problem is the cost of produce. This week alone my food bill went up by ?60, but guess what I already feel the benefit. I have Fibromyalgia and suffer terribly with pain all over my body, but already this is diminishing, and miraculously my usual horrendous hay fever is not really surfacing.
Last night I ate my first solid food, we went to a local music festival and I was surrounded by food!!! Normally I would have derailed and had a hot dog or burger but instead I had hummus and salad . I can't really describe how good that felt, but I still felt guilty eating. Tonight I am going out with friends to a school reunion at an Indian restaurant so will have to choose really carefully again, but will be back on the program on Sunday. Good luck to all Rebooters out there...
I am going to keep a blog of sorts on my journey here, to keep me on track.

This group is inspired by all the amazing people I have met in this community who, like me, have or had 100 lbs or more to lose when starting this journey with our wonderful Joe Cross:) There are special challenges in this world for those of us who are "morbidly obese" and there are some incredibly inspirational people around here conquering those challenges every day. Come be inspired and inspiring!

New to Juicing? Veteran Juicer? All are welcome. Calling out to anyone who would like to join us in losing those extra pounds, keeping it off and celebrating this life like you have always dreamed of. You will find this group very approachable & friendly (most importantly non judgmental and supportive) with many veteran juicers as well as newbies, all in it together...juicing our way to good health and happiness! Here at Sunshine Clubbe we consider this a journey for life, not just another "diet plan" which will end one day. We are working towards a lifestyle change, so that we do not go back to our old eating habits and put back all the lost weight. We Sunshiners believe in spreading warmth...care...kindness...love and peace. We know we can do it. Lets do it together!!!
