  • About: Hi, My name is Heather, I am 26 years old and I am new to the Juicing community. I have been either chubby or extremely overweight for pretty much my whole life. I watched Joe's movie Fat Sick and Nearly dead and something just reached out and shook me and said Wake Up! That's gonna be you in 20 years! So here I am, on the 1st step of my new life!
  • Why I've Joined Reboot with Joe: I've been lucky so far, I'm young and other then being at most 100 lbs over weight since my Jr/Sr year of high school, my blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol and everything else has been perfect. I get yearly physicals and I'm a pretty healthy person considering the way I've been abusing my body for the last 10 years. My family history is loaded with cancer and heart problems from both sides and I know that it's only a matter of time before my good luck runs out. Over the last 6-4 years I've had a chronic migraine/headache that's gotten more frequent and worse latley, the meds the Drs gave me havent worked and I'm sick of headaches. I've also had trouble falling and staying asleep for the last 3 or 4 years. I'm a nurses aide which means I'm on my feet for 8+ hours every day doing moderatly laboring work. Running from one end of the hallway to the other like a zombie is not the best feeling. My last reason for rebooting, I'm getting married next may so I have less than a year and a half to get to where I want to be.

Hi Heather my name is Melody and I've done a 30 day reboot before and a three day a five day a 15 day and then a 30 day and now two years later I am halfway through a 60 day and my biggest concern actually was the headaches it took me a long time to get started because of the first week mood swings and headaches and then a girlfriend of mine who is not a juicer not rebooting gave me the greatest tip and it simply this coconut oil if you put them anywhere from just a little bit anywhere from a quarter teaspoon two up to 2 tablespoons which is a lot in Hardwork up two of coconut oil in hot water or some hot decaffeinated tea your headaches will go away and I don't mean in a day or two I mean immediately within 20 minutes your headaches will be gone! I couldn't have asked for an easier symptom reliever and even if I have a normal headache I just have some coconut oil in my tea you're added to your juice or whatever you need to do but it's it's really really great that helps with the fog. Keep going keep going even when you start to lust after food again keep going the benefits outweigh the the desire for chewing. And remember there is still joy and everything you're just consuming something different than everybody else! Best!

thank you for the advice, you dont put it through the juicer, you add it directly to the juice right?

Day 2 of my 1st reboot almost over, having a hard time finding juices I like, I'm exhausted, my body is aching and I've had a terrible migraine all day, I hope this horrible feeling subsides, it's hard to stay motivated like this :(

Hi all, I created this group so that all the juicers in Connecticut can have somewhere to go for extra support a little closer to home. Share your accomplishments and your harder days. Maybe some of your favorite juice bars and farmers markets. JUICE ON CT!
