  • About: I am 52 years old will be 53 in 2015. I love to have fun travel hike in the back country spend time with my kids and grandkids and go on lots of adventures. I am limited these days to what I can do because of being over weight and having no energy. I am excited to try to get me back and enjoy the second half of my life.
  • Why I've Joined Reboot with Joe: I need to get healthy and strong before its to late. My mother died at the age of 60 due to congestive heart failure and pulmonary hypertension. She was around 450/500 pounds. Since I turned 50 I've been feeling worse and limited more and more. I want to be able to enjoy the second half of my life. I want to travel, hike, go on fun adventures with out all the limitations I have now. I don't want to die yet.

This group is inspired by all the amazing people I have met in this community who, like me, have or had 100 lbs or more to lose when starting this journey with our wonderful Joe Cross:) There are special challenges in this world for those of us who are "morbidly obese" and there are some incredibly inspirational people around here conquering those challenges every day. Come be inspired and inspiring!

If you have tried to reboot more than once but found it hard to commit because of family obligations, work, events, ect... then we need to talk.
