• About: I am a sensitive person, who loves people and enjoys making a difference in their lives. I have strong faith which is very special to me and continues to be one of the most consistent aspects of my life. I like my life to be filled with family, friends, music, animals (my dog), good food, beautiful colors, inspiration and beauty, I am outgoing in small groups or one to one, but I am also a private introspective person.. I pour myself into whatever I do for the sheer love of it. I believe that how we live each day matters.This past year I graduated from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition and The Rouxbe Plant Based Cooking School. I am not active in this field of work at present but really wanted to apply all that good information to my life first. Hope I can help and be helped by others in this community.
  • Why I've Joined Reboot with Joe: I have struggled with my weight for over 30 years. I am currently about 50 pounds overweight and I have tried everything but every time I have lost weight I have gained it back and then some. I have always loved vegetables and have juiced on and off for years but I had never gotten serious about juicing until I saw the video "Fat,Sick and Nearly Dead". It made me realize the level of commitment that is possible if you have the tools, make that decision and just do it. When I tried juicing in the past, I never embraced green juices or even varied my juices. I would get bored, stop juicing and eventually go back to my poor eating habits. Three years ago I had a wake up call with a knee injury and surgery, I was not working for the first time in years and had time to really re-evaluate my health. I had wanted a change, but basically was unwilling to do what it takes to make that change happen. So I started a reboot! I committed to 7 days...after the first four days of headache from quitting coffee, I felt great so I committed to another week, then another, then another...Since then I've been to school for nutrition and cooking and even though I still haven't lost all my weight I am much healthier. I'm 58 years old now and ready to try again.... I always seem to come back to juicing!!!

    New to Juicing? Veteran Juicer? All are welcome. Calling out to anyone who would like to join us in losing those extra pounds, keeping it off and celebrating this life like you have always dreamed of. You will find this group very approachable & friendly (most importantly non judgmental and supportive) with many veteran juicers as well as newbies, all in it together...juicing our way to good health and happiness! Here at Sunshine Clubbe we consider this a journey for life, not just another "diet plan" which will end one day. We are working towards a lifestyle change, so that we do not go back to our old eating habits and put back all the lost weight. We Sunshiners believe in spreading and peace. We know we can do it.     JOIN ME!!! I have a challenge for us... Let's do this for 30 days!! If you fall off just get back up!! But see... We WON'T fall off! Let's prove to ourselves that we are capable of doing this. LET'S BE A TEAM! Let's start living a healthier lifestyle. You even being on this site is already a start. I need some motivation and I can motivate you as well. Let's help eachother out. Let's stop trying and start doing. It may be hard but it isn't impossible. WE can work together and push eachother. On our days when we feel like giving up, let's speak up and seek some words of encouragement. I'm starting today but even if you see this post late, STILL join. I will push you and help you reach your goals. If you're not joining, I would appreciate any advice or any words to motivate or inspire me. I'm on day one and I'm fighting! I'll be posting my recipes and experience day by day until WE reach 30 days. If you stop after 30 days, don't go back to old habits! EAT HEALTHIER and excersice. Do it for your own good. Love yourself enough to make this change. Question for you... Do you want to be happier? Do you want to feel more energy? Live longer? Be able to do things you were never able to? THEN START TODAY AND SEE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE. I know you want to look into the mirror and see a difference for once. Trust yourself and give this your all. Change begins with YOU. Remember that hard work pays off and great things require hard work. Btw, a BIG thanks to Joe! You helped me start TODAY and stop making excuses.
