  • About: That picture is me on my wedding day a year ago after about 75 days of juicing. I went from 365 to about 311 pounds. It was the smallest I'd been in ten years. Sadly, after the wedding, a gall bladder surgery, a new job and a baby I am almost right back where I started. I am determined to get to 250-260 pounds and I plan to stay focused and look even better than I did on my wedding day.

if ur referring to jalepeno peppers then the purpose is adding vitamin C. They have a higher vitamin c content than oranges. Plus I love the spicy kick it gives.

congrats on your weight loss so far! thats amazing you lost that much without working out. just juice alone. there are some people who couldnt lose that in 2 months! just imagine what 20-30 mins of light cardio could do for those results. you've come a long way my man. keep up the great work!! i bet you feel great all around dont you?

    Chris,

I feel great! I am getting a little cardio in, but it hasn't been consistent. I coach 9th grade football, so I'm usually running around behind kids, but not consistently. Fortunately, with school ending I will have HOURS to do cardio and get back into weight lifting later on. I think I will follow your example and keep it all cardio for the next month or so (30 minutes and build up to an hour). Then incorporate the weights. I've been lifting for years so I am not worried about that. Thanks for staying in touch! Take care brother!

My guess is that your body is going through the shock of not have so many meals per day. Glad to hear your blood pressure has been normalized. I have high blood pressure in my family, but fortunately I've never had it.

So today marks 30 days since I started my reboot, and I'm down 22 lbs! While I was hoping for more by now I have slipped up and eat some things I shouldn't have an because of my busy schedule I haven't gotten in workouts like I want to. But by next week there are no more excuses! I will have hours of free time to hit the gym and the track at least 4-5 times a week. So my goal for next month is to lose more than 22 lbs by June 14. The good thing is that I am learning my weaknesses and my strengths and when I throw working out into the mix I should even better results. This group has been awesome and when I have felt like being week I remember the people in this group and I am motivated not to hurt myself by putting things in my body that are hurting and not helping. So thanks for all the encouragement and the love. God Bless!

    Amyee,

I am doing well. Slipped a little this weekend, but I am back at it strong. I'm almost down 20 pounds in 20 days. So I won't complain. How are you doing?

Week 1 Results - So after one tough week, I am down 11 pounds! It was hard to simply juice every day and some days the hunger won. I had a banana here and there and some nuts, but no red meat and no "meals". Even when I lost weight before red meat slipped in some way but I'm curious to see how long I can go without. Still have tons of energy and I am waking up refreshed and ready to start my day. I want to keep this up for 60 days take a break and go right back to it.
