  • About: I am a landscape photographer from Houston, TX who enjoys travel and spending time with my family. So aside from my day job, I run my photography business, build websites and I am an active Blood Donor at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. I recently completed my first reboot which was for 60 days. I feel so much better, I lost 71 lbs and now I only have 49 lbs to go to meet my goal. I am juicing for two meals a day and allowing myself one meal so that I can make it through the holidays without having to sit out on all of the festivities. I used to work in an active role in the field, so I was always running around wearing a lot of gear; now I am stuck in an office and fairly sedentary. That is something that I am having to focus on by exercising on a regular basis along with making major modifications to my diet. Let's face it, I am 37 years old and my body isn't what it used to be. I have had 32 broken bones, 6 herniated discs, had 13 inches of my colon removed and I have more mileage than the cars being towed down south from the auto auction... It is time to make changes so that I can be around to watch my son become a man and maybe one day, I will have grandchildren, who knows? In the meantime, I am shifting the focus to taking care of myself and rebuilding. So far, so good.

    This group is inspired by all the amazing people I have met in this community who, like me, have or had 100 lbs or more to lose when starting this journey with our wonderful Joe Cross:) There are special challenges in this world for those of us who are "morbidly obese" and there are some incredibly inspirational people around here conquering those challenges every day.
