Wanting to connect with other's with Fibromyalgia who want to use food for feeling better, discuss alternative healing using juicing, and encourage you through hard, hard days. I have had fibro since 1986, have had remission periods and times that were extremely tough. I am no saint! I will talk about medical cannabis if allowed, if not, well, I'll send you a like where it can be discussed safely and compassionately. Yes, I do believe in juicing it. We'll talk about weight loss and support, talk about spirituality (non denominational, no pressure), meditation if you wish, and about family and support, because with Fibro it's hard to have with the lack of understanding. I'll give you educational pieces you can give to family, support to get off of meds, if you wish, and know that I have dropped 21 medications. No, I am not a fanatic, i still take Thyroid medication, stomach medication, and asthma inhaler. What I know is that Carrots heal, that food is the best medication possible, herbs are good, and too much of anything can be non-beneficial (mom turned orange when she was doing 2 quarts of carrot juice a day). Everything in Balance!

This group is a continuation of Joe's February Reboot Group although anyone is welcome. We are committed to changing our lives and chat with each other for support and inspiration. Some of us are winding down a reboot, others are in the middle or just beginning their journey. Wherever you are on your path, we're here.

Hi, my name is Kate (aka katiejay/kate.the.warrior). I began adding juice to my life April 9, 2013. Since then, I've lost approximately 170 pounds, have been the featured member twice, a featured success story and am in Joe's new book. Life is radically different. I no longer hide in the shadows. Your reboot can be of any duration from 5 days to 100+. It can be 100% juice or modified juicing with plant-based eating on the side...whatever keeps you going. I do have one request... NO FOOD TALK...it can throw someone off track on a particularly difficult day. We don't need to hear about what you ate, wanted to eat or dreamt of eating. I'd suggest that you try to keep from weighing too often...if you're having a good day - have a good day. Don't let a number dictate whether you feel victorious or defeated. You can join whenever you want....just don't quit and never give up! Sometimes we win & sometimes we learn. "Start by doing what's necessary, then what's possible. Suddenly you're doing the IMPOSSIBLE." St. Francis of Assisi
