  • About: Husband and father of two, living in the Houston area. I have a pretty sedentary lifestyle, and lived through a DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) back in late 2006. I was tired all the time, but had to work all the time because I was afraid of losing my job to a company that just bought us out. They were notorious (still are) for layoffs every first Friday of the month, especially with newly acquired companies (yes, they purchased many back then). I survived the blood clot, but not without it's damage. My leg still hurts to this day, and I'd like to clear it up. I was finally diagnosed (in 2011) with a condition called APS (antiphospholipid syndrome), also known as sticky blood syndrome. By juicing every now and then I've been able to sustain my health, but now I'd like to take it to the next level. I have an old military buddy that reinspired me to do this again. This time, I'm tracking it.
  • Why I've Joined Reboot with Joe: I've really never left it. :) When the movie first came available on Netflix, I watched it and did it. I went from 250lbs to 205lbs in 60 days. I was working night shift, and people in the company started noticing me more. Shortly after my "reset," I got promoted. A year later, promoted again. Now, I look back and see that there may be more to this whole "juice thing" than just wanting to physically feel better. I feel that it's inevitable to also have a better overall attitude about life once you start physically feeling better. The shift is absolutely amazing, and I'm going to reset once again!
