Day 1 (again) :) I got food poisoning three days ago, so if that wasn't fate say 'Stop Procrastinating' nothing is. I lost around 5 kg with my first lot of juicing, and am still about 3kgs lighter than I use to be (been eating junk) Started swimming once a week with a friend too.

Day 22 (Wednesday) Day 22 because I started this juicing journey 22 days ago. But the last week Ive been eating food. The food was because of being so sick, ending up with an ear infection too and taking antibiotics and pills requiring food. The swish in my jeans from weight loss is very encouraging and helped me walk away from the confectionery isle at the supermarket (true story) Pills are done, feeling 90%, So juicing now! :) (I've been excitedly looking forward to getting back on track)

Day 12. Today's much better. I made some healthy but not very tasty juice earlier in the week, bad move, it made me quite discouraged. Today I made my juice till Wednesday and I put in a bit more fruit, but now I'm excited to drink my juice, yay. Leasson learned. Mr 2 has a cough (we've both had bad colds this week) so made him some fresh pineapple juice as its sapose to be good for coughs. Also added some spianch because why not.

Juices I made. (Single batch recipes) Australia Gold (yellow/green) 2 lemon 2 yellow capsicum Big bunch of spinach and kale 2 cups pineapple Carrot Orange Glow (orange) 4 carrots 1 Large parsnip 3 oranges 1 lemon 1 pear Green Apple (green) 2 kiwi fruit 2 green apples 2 Big bunches of spinach and kale 1 red cabbage leaf (using it up) Green Ginger Ale (Green) 3 apples 1/2 cucumber 6 zucchni 1 small lettuce Ginger (lots- I added some, tasted, added more) 2 limes So a bit too much fruit maybe, but it will keep me juicing, and of course I plan to add less as I go. Zucchnis: I got a huge box of slightly sad looking zucchini for $6. I juiced them all and froze them in tubs, yay. So I really used 1 frozen tube, but it works out to be 6.

So TexasT I think your right, just might take awhile, I also picked up some more kiwi fruit, as they help smother the taste.

Had butter Chicken in the end. Home made, lots of spinach in it, brown rice that was half rice half capsicum and carrot. So yum, and as healthy as it gets (coconut milk not cream ect)

So did I. Give it another week - your taste buds will warm up to it. Here I am at Day 35 and now I'm actually cutting more fruit out of my juices because I'm sick of the sweet flavor. Your tastes buds do and will change so hang in there!

Day 7 (tuesday) Yester I had a home made burger for tea, I enjoyed it so much more than ever before. Also helped me confirm the tired run down feeling wasn't because of the juice and was just because I sick. It wasn't a slip it was a choice. Today's choice is juice :)

Day 2. Home lifeis more than a bit stressful. Sigh. Have to keep reminding my self why I'm doing this. It's because I'm worth it!

Hi Emma - hang in there! I know what you mean about stress. The best part of juicing for me so far is that I definitely feel like I am able to cope with stress much better than I did before. I'm not so high-strung (neurotic, yes), just waiting for everything to go wrong and freaking out over daily ups and downs. I feel like I can observe my emotions more objectively now, instead of becoming enmeshed in them and assuming they represent reality. It gets better!
