Dr Kat, I saw your comment "I saw an omega mastication juicer V 30...but a woman came up and complained that you get no juice ..." and I wanted to chime in. I have the Omega Vert and I love it. I believe it's made by the same manufacturer of the Breville (not sure). But both, being masticating juicers, make the best, most healthful juice. It's worth the investment. Yes, you have to clean the parts but if you make the whole day's batch of juices in one shot, you have just one clean-up. We probably spend that much time doing prep and clean-up on three other meals a day, when we really think about it. So, don't listen to that naysayer. Invest in a good juicer and it'll pay off.

Good Morning DrKat~ I got an Omega Masticating Vert Juicer (at the recommendation of a cousin that dodged the cancer bullet via diet alone, mostly juicing) If you need a smile this morning, I felt desperate to have my hands on it last Saturday as I knew I would need to read the instructions, assemble, learn to operate, yada yada... . I am in a small town, so had to google for a store that had one in stock,,, it was bed, bath, and beyond, WHO KNEW!!

Jump up and get to the store, is refreshing to shop in just one section. Folks look in your cart like you've lost your mind~ I just had my lemon/ginger water... still contemplating if ginger is supposed to be peeled or not~ Let's shine!!

Day 1: Up too late and tummy upset. It's after midnight and have several hours before things begin. Am unprepared but will catch up(need juicer, more of the proper food). Tired now, but excited to start such a great program. A little daunting. But I'm not alone.

I thought since the Holidays are coming up as well as the end of the year and I would rather start the year off on a positive note then as a desperate resolution, I will do nothing but juices, smoothie and salad until the end of the year. I know just juices alone would give me faster weight loss but I am trying to focus on health and not just weight alone as well as something that is sustainable for the long haul. I would love company and support if anyone else is interested? Join me and we can encourage and support each other. :)
