Fat, sick, nearly dead 2 is now on Netflix as of this week sometime, I was told. So, there's double the inspiration! Honestly, it does help to be inspired when we feel draggy, doesn't it?

doctorgirl. With what you have been through, not only do you need this reboot, but you will make it through, because you've been through worse in your life and come through this far. Have confidence. You will be just fine. Been through a 14 day reboot last Jan, and want to do the 30 this time. I found the first week the hardest. But, then, once I began to get in a rhythm, it was easier. Just concentrate on one day at a time, or even one hour or one meal at a time. Listen to your body. Feed your soul. Are you a faith person like me? If so, cool. If not, just fine. I also love Joe's passion. Suggestion... watch Fat, sick, nearly dead again in first day or two of fast. It will remind you that for the first few days, Joe hardly left the bed. If you are up and at it, you are ahead of the game already. If not, you will get there.

Thank you DaveDoc for the encouraging words and great advice! I think watching Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead is great idea! I am looking forward to getting past the fist 4 or 5 days and getting into the zone!

This group is for anyone who is striving to eat and drink only plants. We all know that a plant-based whole-foods diet is the healthiest way to eat, a la Drs. Ornish, McDougall, Esselstyn, Furhman, Caldwell, Campbell, etc. It can prevent and even cure many diseases. I have tried a couple times to fully transition to a plant-based whole-foods diet and have not yet succeeded. I am giving it another go and would love to give and receive support from like-minded people. I have watched "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead," "Forks Over Knives," and other documentaries, and I'm really inspired! Will you join me?
