  • What if you can't take it all in?

    I am having a hard time getting everything down and staying on track. I can't seem to finish what I start in terms of what I am eating. By the time I finish breakfast its past the time I should of already finished lunch. I am on day 2 and I have already missed 2 meals yesterday and 2 today and the day's not up yet. I am not a fast eater and especially not a fast drinker, I get nauseous if I try regardless of what it is.
    Any suggestions?

    You have probably heard this asked many times but I do not find it easy to find anything on the Community pages because I do not see a search for only this section.

    I would like to know which recipes are best for significant weight loss and which are best for significant detox?
    I need to loose about 90-100 pounds and need the detox because I have had MANY surgeries with medications and cancer treatments which I would like to get purged out of my system and reboot to a new start like God created me to begin with.

    Any suggestions?

    P.S.
    It would be nice if the site was a little more user friendly and we wouldn't have to ask so many of the same questions.

    I need to loose about 100 lbs. and plan on doing 60 days of fasting.
    First 5 and last 5 of the 15 day juicing and in between the first and last 5 I plan to juice for 50 days.
    Please, send lots of prayers!!!

    I have 5 questions I am hoping you can help me with:
    1. Can the juicing days be switched around for different juice days OR even maybe pick out 1 meal plan and use the same one every day during the 50 days? Meaning using the 15 day plan can I mix match the daily plans or do I need to stick to the way its laid out each day.
    2. Can honey substitute the Stevia for the hot herbal teas?
    3. Do I have to add more than 1 veggie in the Reboot Green Salad? Can it be just one such as romaine lettuce?
    4. Do I need to eat more than what is on the daily plans or am I fine with sticking to what is laid out and having water in between?
    5. What if I do not like coconut water or herbal teas?

    Hope someone can help!

I just purchased my juicer now trying to get everything planned out so I can avoid interruptions or any other issues once I have started. I also purchased the Joe Cross cook book which is on its way.

    I really do not care for the taste of the Coconut Water in the diets as far as the drinking without it being a part of the juicing and I wondered...to stay within the benefits of the rebound juicing only diet can a person add Coconut Water Powder - Organic Freeze Dried to a juice? I would really like to reap the benefits but just don't like the taste.

    I have planned to start my reboot diet tomorrow. I went to the grocery store last night (Whole Foods) and they had no cherries, mint, arugula, avocado, Jicama (whatever that is) or Mustard seed oil. What can I do to substitute these items in the diet menu/recipes?

    I am hoping you can help me. I have been trying various juices after my first initial attempt in the juicing fast only to realize my taste buds were not ready yet and I have weeded out many of the I do and do not like. Since I would not be going according to the juice diet as outlined I want to be sure that I will be getting enough of what I need when I start again. I need to loose 90-100 lbs. and I would like to loose it kind of quickly (more like 4-6 months, not 18-24 months). I do currently exercise pretty strenuously and didn't feel too great when I exercised on the juices as they are currently arranged on the diet.

    My question is: is there some sort of 'simple' online recipe or ingredient analyzer which will tell me if I am getting enough of what I am supposed to have for each day so I can at the least (but I plan to go beyond) meet my daily requirements for vitamins, minerals and all that sort of nutritional necessity? I do not really want to have to study all the various fruits and vegetables in such a depth that it takes up most of my day, just plug in my ingredients for the day and it tell me I need to add more or I am doing good.

    I tried to start the reboot program several months ago but it didn't work out because I was doing a 9 month strenuous exercise program and the two just didn't combine well. Well its 9 months later and after working out 4 times a week an hour each time I only lost 12 pounds :(
    Now that its over I can go back to the reboot diet again and I look so forward to it! I do have a question though to help me get started. Seems I recall seeing the recipe somewhere on here but can not find it now (sorry but reboot needs better internal search engine).
    Could you help me with a recipe for hot herbal tea. I do not know if the Black Tea I currently have has caffeine in it or not. I am not much of a tea drinker so it needs to be one which would work for beginners with a low tolerance to bitterness.

    I have had both my thyroids and 2 of my parathyroids out and wanting to juice to loose 100+ lbs. but I feel I am at a wall with no way around it. I have found one juice on here for people with hypothyroidism but I really would like to be able to put together more than one juice to loose weight without using the cruciferous vegetables, I also do not do well with beets. Can you guide me to where I need to be so I can work on this? Something which also taste good and will help me to loose allot of weight? I am afraid if I just drink any juice that although it would be healthy for me that it wouldn't work towards loosing weight. My goal is to get healthier not only through juicing but also through loosing weight.
