  • About: I am a healthcare consultant, previously a clinical nurse specialist. Now I focus on organizational design and recruiting senior level healthcare executives with an emphasis on physicians and clinical integration roles. When I'm not traveling for work, I live in St. Louis with my husband, two children who think they're grown, two dogs and a cat.
  • Why I've Joined Reboot with Joe: I saw the movie two years ago and that changed me to a plant based life style, but I was still hanging on to those stubborn pounds that just would not go away. I got the email announcing Camp Reboot and that spurred me into action. I did a two week reboot, including the camp. dumped 15 lbs, never felt better and have never looked back. I juice daily and now have many friends and colleagues who have been converted "to the juice". I think they do it to keep up with my new energy level. My lovely husband accompanies me and he too has now, "drunk the Reboot Koolaid".

I had a small surgery which out me on the couch for two weeks, then got bronchitis, which added another two. Happy to say juiced my way through the entire month. Back on the program this week and now I'm over my shortness of breath, I worked out five days this week. Yeah!!! Without the juice, I'd have taken a long time to get back in shape.

So, yes I'm starting a reboot now, just before Thanksgiving. I'm having some elective surgery in three weeks and I want to ditch my last ten pounds prior to having that procedure. I need to completely discount food over the holidays or I will overheat, using them a sane cause. This past weekend I went out with friends for dinner and had a full meal with two drinks. I felt liked death much of Sunday. What a motivator to get back with the program on which I feel so fantastic!!!!
