How's it going?
- Why I've Joined Reboot with Joe: Recently my husband and I watched SFD. Needless to say it's made us look at our eating habits, which in fact, aren't as horrific as they could be, but even though I'm conscious of what I eat, I can't seem to lose the weight I desperately need to lose, nor do I keep it off when I have small successes. I spend a LOT of time reading...educating myself on nutrition and I have started 'clean eating' programs only to fall off the wagon after a week or two. What annoys me the most is that in those few weeks of eating well, I feel amazing...energetic, clear head, etc. I'm tired of feeling this way! Looking forward to this 3 day reboot and planning to perhaps carry that on to a 15, 30 or even 60 day reboot after that!!
- Favorite Juice? Struggling with the green juices, so for now more fruit
- Food temptation? anything sweet

Just wrapping up Day 1 of the 15 day reboot. So far so good. I did make a point of cutting out meat, coffee, sugar, etc., days before I started so not expecting to feel too rough, but I guess I'll see soon enough. This isn't my first cleanse. I've done food cleanses before, but my first go at juicing. I did make a carrot/ginger/apple juice yesterday to try out the juicer and didn't hate it, but didn't love it either. Today I found it quite yummy....even yummier the third time around. Tonight I'm making the kale salad for dinner and just finished preparing everything. I have never tried kale before and after reading some comments on here was a little worried that I wouldn't like it but it's actually quite good. A little bit of a cabbage flavour. I'm going to make sauteed kale as well.
I know from previous experience that eventually your tastes change. You'll find sweet things super sweet and enjoy things you might not have enjoyed before. For me, I look forward to that. If I have one comment on the negative side it's that this is very time consuming, but I'm hoping as I do it more and more it'll get easier and easier!

Well, interesting morning for me. I woke up feeling a little queasy. Definitely have a little diarrhea and had some stomach pains which I attributed to hunger (though I wasn't feeling hungry). While I drinking my morning lemon brew, I had to run to the bathroom to vomit. Feeling better now but wondering if this was from the juicing or is it a little stomach flu? I was with my niece and she had a quick morning flu thing so maybe that's it. It wasn't a violent sick by any means. Just watery and what I'd guess is a lot of bile.
Needless to say at the moment I am not in the mood for food of any sort and the idea of a juice isn't at all appealing. I have to say too that I didn't mind the kale yesterday but second time around (burping), I'm not enjoying it at all! I think I might just try spinach for this first round of juicing.
Has anyone else had this reaction as early as their second day?
