  • About: Been busy raising my son on my own for the last 17 years while building my career. At 47 years old and my son doing very well in his fourth year of college, I realize I have been so busy in life that I have put myself and my health on the back burner for all these years. Now, it is time to take my health and my life back. Tired of being stressed, sick and having no energy. I'm ready to start an exciting new chapter in my life, putting my health on the front burner.
  • Why I've Joined Reboot with Joe: Get off HBP medication, lose weight, control allergies and inflammation that I struggle with daily and take my health back

I will be 49 in a few months and I allowed myself to accept the fact that arthritis was in my knee, lower back pain, couldn't walk far and I was going to have to take blood pressure meds for my stage 3 hypertension. I have seen my sister die of a massive heart attack at age 51. Also both if my parents died......one from cancer the other from complications from Alzheimer's. My family health history sucks. My child is overweight and unhealthy also. I started to do light exercise about 2 mos. ago. My daughter introduced me yo the documentary. Not only have I lost almost 20 pounds, but I have encouraged 2 co workers to juice and they are! We have discussions on getting our fiber. I have never spent so much time in the produce section of a store!

I am going to dive into a 30-cleanse in order to best reboot my system and tastebuds! It's very difficult to get through food cravings so personally, I need something drastic to commit to in order to successfully change my lifestyle. I'd love to create a support group for people committed to creating a healthier future for themselves. After just one day on the pre-reboot "diet", I already realize that I need a strong system of friends that can motivate and support one another; I know I'm not the only one out there! Please join and post often; pictures, stories, motivational quotes... anything! It will be easier if we do it together!

Come one come all! Anyone is welcome as long as you are committed to making positive changes to your life through the power of JUICE. I thought it would be good to have a place where anyone can come and share (or rant), whether you are doing Juice Only (JO) or Juice Modified (JM - juice plus healthy eating), regardless of if you are just starting on the path, part way along, or at the finish line, whether you are in the UK, the US or Timbuktu! Jump in, saddle up, let's go a juicing!
