Okay I just wanted to give you an update. Today is day 61 of my 100% Juice Feast. I was having an uncontrollable period that was leaving me anemic when I started and by the first week or two in it stopped on its own. I am prescription hormones free! :-) Tree days ago I started a very light and pain free period and it stopped all by itself today! :-) I am so happy because this means that my hormones and my cycle are now regulating themselves on their own!!!!! :) :) :) Polycystic ovary disease is now in remission! Juicing kicked its butt! Just thought I would share the good news. STAY STRONGAND JUICE ON! :-)

Your new profile picture is awesome LOL! I don't have a dog...but I have one cat who will only touch meat and the other one will eat just about anything. I'm going to see if she will keep eating her veggies. You aren't going to like this but I got back on Juice Only.... NOT! Late last night my friend I was hanging out with wanted to go to a new Frozen Yogurt shop that opened up in town (It's an East Coast brand that is coming to the West Coast). Long story short it just so happens the dude who opened it bought all of the 200 franchise rights that are coming all over California and Arizona very soon. He is some successful businessmen through accounting or something like that. ANYWAYS they had some sugar free tangerine "blended ice" thing and I said what the hell....I'll get it. It was pretty good I have to say. It wasn't like a snow cone at all, it's hard to describe. I started talking to him further and he went on to tell me that his wife had lymph node and pancreatic cancer a few years back. He didn't want her to die so they ended up researching on how to help her....lo and behold...the lady found Juicing. After a few years of dedicated juicing ALL of her cancer disappeared. To this day she still drinks her juices (I don't know how much a day). This promptly got me to share a little bit of my story with him. His employees kept giving me death glares because they wanted to close...but hey...I was connecting with the rich owner, they can go cry wolf. I'm still alive!

What I thought you were back on the juice a while ago and only just telling us that you were eating food so that we would not pester you anymore! ;) I'm glad you enjoyed your trip to the yogurt shop but be careful when having any dessert that says its sugar free because they usually substitute the sugar for an artificial sweetener which is even worse for you :-( If you're craving some ice cream this video is short and sweet!

You are absolutely right. I knew when I ordered it that I was ingesting artificial sweetener. I don't know what got in to me. I have to say THAT was the worst thing I've ingested in the past 3 days. Maybe that's why my stomach was tore up later that night too. No more of that crap for me =P. I'll stick with fruit replacements. Thanks for the vid lol!!! I need to keep making good decisions and re-training myself so I don't beat myself up over and over and over. This is hard...but not impossible. Annoying yet in the end it's good for me. Ugh. What I like about the video is that they don't use any ice too. The music made me feel like I was on some African Safari or something. A lion would eat my a$$ up!

Ayla35 I LOVE Cabbage but when I have juiced it in the past it has been really spicy ...and I love ginger to .. how can I tone down the hot ..with out using to much fruit

  • Ayla35

Hi Matilde :) Was it the red cabbage or green cabbage you used because I have noticed that the red cabbage is much sweeter. I have also noticed that red cabbage juice reacts to the other juices its combined with for some reason. for instance when I added lemon the color turns pinkish instead of the dark purple it originally was and it tasted a little off. I usually like to add lemon to offset the taste of greens but I don't think it goes well with cruciferous vegetables.

Day 57 of 100% juice feast!

I'm trying to decide whether I'm going to incorporate food back into my diet on day 62 after meeting Joe cross or continue on for a full 70,80 or 90 days. I like the sound of even numbers. I was tempted at stopping at 60 days but then my sister and brother-in-law joined the juice bandwagon with me :-) They're all the way in North Dakota and far from me but with the help of this website and juicing they seem closer than ever. I now feel like I want to continue on for them. Thanks melon juice and gone juice'n for the wonderful support and extra motivation to carry on! I was completely shocked that my brother in law started juicing because he is the last person I would expect to try It :-) Way to go and I hope it treats you as well as it has me.
