  • About: Greetings from Sunny Alice Springs, Australia ! I am turning 42 this year in October, and saw the effects that juice had on my fathers life when he found out he had prostate cancer. My dad was presented with options of chemotherapy and radiotherapy in conjunction with numerous hospital appointments. After alot of research my Dad decided to start healthy eating including juicing. It was truly a miracle but my Dad managed to rid the cancer from his body. My dad stopped the healthy eating many years later and the cancer returned, he is now struggling with bone cancer in his legs, hips, ribs and a tumor at the base of his spine. He is currently in palliative care which is extremely heartbreaking for a girl that loves her father so much. His journey has had such an impression and impact on my life that I would like to continue what he started. My start date is Wednesday 11th February 2015.
  • Why I've Joined Reboot with Joe: To strive to be a better person, and to be a healthier version of me, and to also help my mum who is struggling quite a bit at the moment. I am extremely grateful for this online opportunity and I look forward to this journey

    Day 14;


    Hello Everyone,


    I hope you are all having a great day where ever you may be in the world today.


    I went for a 20km run today,after googling and researching on the internet about marathon running and juicing.


    The first 15kms were great and I felt strong, Average pace was 6 - 6.30 minutes per kilometre. After the 15km mark I averaged approximately 7 minutes per kilometre. I had cocount water with me, and every time I drank some I could feel it refuelling my body. I dedicated this 20km run to my very special father who passed away on Friday 20th February with Bone Cancer.

    I have almost finished my first day of juicing - Yippee !

    Went for a walk today to also keep my mind busy, inbetween trying to focus on work.

    The Challenge: I think the challenge today, was not chewing anything.

    What am I Grateful for: The fact that I am embarking on this journey to become a better person.

    A group for those interested in not only doing a reboot but using it as a tool to effect serious change in your life. Use this opportunity to kick cravings out, face mental demons, load up on tons of fruits and vegetables and start living the life you always knew you could! I just completed my first 60 day juice only reboot on Thanksgiving (11-28-14) and lost 40lbs!!!! I felt great and still do but am not mentally where I want to be with food yet and physically still need to lose about 40lbs. So, I enjoyed my month after Thanksgiving to Christmas eating a mostly vegan diet and am ready to kick off another 60 day juice reboot. All are welcome, newbies and veterans alike, and although I am doing juice only and hope others will join me, all rebooters are welcome whether you juice only or don't or if it is for 60 days or 3. Let's join together and encourage one another to freedom!!!!
