  • Why I've Joined Reboot with Joe: 43 year old with a teen boy and a baby girl. Need the reboot so I can live to see them both grow up. Started the year at 325, currently at 264. 38 days in to a 60-day juice only reboot.
  • Favorite Juice? Mean Green :)

    I'm 7 days in on mostly Mean Green with a couple others thrown in for variety. Days 2 and 3 were tough. Today (day 7) I'm just feeling nauseated. Maybe I didn't wash something thoroughly - ugh!

    But, 7 days and 7 lbs down, so I'm not complaining :)

    I'm "doing mean green" for 3 or 4 juices per day. If i eat fruit, will it kill the weight loss? Also, when using tomatoes in a juice, do they count as fruit or as a vegetable, nutritionally speaking?

    I'm 3 weeks in, about 32 pounds down but now i seem to be hitting a plateau. Anyone else had this? How do I kickstart it again. I'm just doing Mean Green and water :)

    I'm 24 days in on a juice fast. I get horrible dog-breath :) Is it ok to eat sugar-free mints or chew gum, or will that screw everything up?

    Today is day 30. So far i have lost 39 pounds, 4 inches off my waist and my BP is 25 points lower. I am walking a lot and have started a Couch-to-5k program, and with the increase in excercise i am increasing my veggie intake.

    Another 30 days ahead (at least) as there is still some poundage to lose...on we go.

    Does anyone have an accurate measure of the calories etc in 500ml of Mean Green? Iuse MyFitnessPal to track progress and there are about 20 different entries for it.
