  • About: I am a psychic and live in Australia with my partner who is also a psychic. We live with our two Labradors, a 6ft tank of Tropical Fish & two Sun Conure Parrots. We love eating well as a general rule. We eat all types of fruit, seafood, vegetables, meats, seeds & nuts. If I am eating well, my partner will be eating well. I do the cooking etc and he will also do the juicing reboot with me which will be truely excellent as we can then support each other. We look forward to speaking with folks who are also on this journey.
  • Why I've Joined Reboot with Joe: I'd like to loose approximately 38.9 to 41.9kg or 84 pounds plus. I was a very healthy person, then I had a car accident that injured the discs in my back & also gave me severe sciatica. Due to the pain I have not been able to even do my housework, or shop & be able to put the shopping away after I arrive home. It is very difficult but I do carry on as they say. I keep a positive mind, as the old saying mind over matter is 100% correct and true, I know that through my meditations. I am eager to win over my pain and loose the weight I gained since the accident. I'm concentrating on getting back to being an active person who can walk her dogs everyday. I want to be able to sweep the verandah again & vaccume without having to sit down 3 times in between. To lean over and pick up the washing basket full of wet clothes to hang on the line. I want to get pregnant & not have to sit or lie in bed the whole pregnancy. I look forward to my reboot juicing journey where, I know with my positive attitude & loving support achieve a goal of a healed cellular body, no pain, lots of vitality & health in a slim and healthy body, that glows with happiness :D

Keep going Folks, your doing well. My partner & I did 3 x 60 day reboots. We have stopped over winter, too cold to drink cold drinks. We'll be back on it within 2 weeks, waiting on our pays. We did put weight back on, it's all about changing your life-style eating better foods, making better choices for the long run. I might even suggest to folks to research great healthy meals on the net so you can eat better when you finish your reboot. It's normal to put a bit of weight back on when you stop juicing but it's more important to not go back to eating what you used to eat before rebooting. Hope this helps you all... We ended up doing 3 x 60 Day Reboots but have stopped over winter. We did put some weight back on but it's most important to not go back to eating the same foods that you ate before starting the Reboot with Joe Program. We took advantge of the Soup Recipies as they were very nice, yep the one's we memebers made in our first week, bloody lovely :) Haven't been on here for a long time. I don't know if it was bad luck or what the heck but I didn't really get many communicating with me so I have joined a Australian Reboot with Joe Facebook Group & I find them totally amazing, helpful and confident. I wish you well on your journey and you can always ask me anything as I do still get the notifications for this community via my email. You should be a lot skinnyer by now, we haven't spoken in 5 months, a long time. Good on you for taking your life into your own hands, I truely wish you well. Love, Light & Inner Peace, Rachel <3

Day 57 & we're going strong. We have eaten, we went to a Wedding Nov 22 '14 & we ate at the reception as would offend the family if I didn't. Christmas Day & Boxing Day fresh meats & salads we on the menu. My family cared that Nick & I were on a diet. They said so this year we are having a healthy Christmas... so good of them, I thank them all for their support, respect, love and care for us both. We are still enjoying our juices, I have all the books and yet we still haven't tried every single one as yet. We are mixing it up, we're eating a rainbow. Gazpacho is my man, Nick's favourite & I also add 2 large red chillies to the juice, one with the seeds, one without... yum yum! My favourite is a simple one... Carrot Apple & Ginger, it's just so refreshing. We are loving how healthy we have become, how asthma has completely gone for my man Nick & how we are feeling within... proud and supported. We are there for each other and we encourage and compliment each other every single day. We are the rock for the other, we're right there if one has any weak moments. We remind ourselves of the goal, the progress we have made so far, the health benifits, where we are headed and what it is "WE WANT FOR OURSELVES". I have not had a real lot of repsonse to any of my posts since joining the community but post now & then all the same. I feel very supported on the Facebook Page Reboot Australia they're an active lovely positive bunch of rebooter's <3 I do hope that by the posting of our journeys success and happiness, due to all our hard work and effort, that others will feel compelled to keep going and forfill their own goals and dreams. Nick is in a wheelchair so we can't weigh him but we measure by how many times I have to tighten his seat belts ;) I have lost 14.3 kg 31.53 lbs. We like to concentrate more on our journey than our numbers ;) We keep positive and support each other every single day as we know that we have changed our lives for the better. We (and you will too) experience much happiness due to the health changes that have occured because we are now looking after ourselves completely and whole-heartedly. I wish you all well and here's to a successful Reboot with Joe... Juice On!!! :D <3 You can do it ;)

Hi Folks, Well it's "Day 33", my partner Nick & I are going along fabulously!!! We're both loosing weight which has been a roller coaster ride as far as the figures go but has been a good overall number for the weeks. I did think that I would loose more than I have, so far in 33 days I've lost 9.7kg. Let me know folks please if that is a good number or not, as I don't get on here probably as often as I should. I did read on the website somewhere an exspected 500g a day was average. So well... I'm not getting those scores, but am stil happy to be acomplishing my goal to loose weight. My back has still been sore but I have been experiencing pain bouts less often which is fantastic. Nick has been loosing weight quite well, as he's in a wheelchair so we use a tape measure to track his progress ;) I have had to tighten his belt twice so far and it's nearly due for a third. We have been hungry at times, so have followed Joe's advice & we eat a leafy salad with a vinegarette most days along with our juices. I also need to take panadiene on my bad sciatica days so I eat 2 bananna's as 1 isn't enough to stop my tummy from feeling sick from the tablets. I have a bladder infection & am not sure why, will be drinking more water ;) I don't take anti-biotics and hope that the vitamins will fuel my body to fight it off. Well thats about all the news, we're going well, supporting each other & have more to do. Looking forward to meeting new folks... "please friend us" as not many have been chatting a lot when I do get on here. Would be great to find out if we are doing well (by average standards) on this diet, becomming healthy kick we're on. Blessings of Love & Light to You All <3 Over the Holiday period, remember... "love" is the best gift of all <3 :D

Well day 2 for the 15 Classic reboot, am happy so far. No side effects. The shopping cost me a heck of a lot for my partner & I. That was only for the first 6 days. My Nail Technician told me about "powdered kale" so if anyone knows any more on this subject please comment. I am subsituting 4/12 bunches of fresh kale as I buy for two of us. I am only on a pension & my partner is on a disability pension as he has CP (Cerebral Palsy). Am happy and will keep posting.

The KH Kitchen added 3 new photos.

What to do with Juicing Pulp... Make Crackers of Course

    Ingredients
    1C veggie juicing pulp
(tomato, red capsicum, carrot, celery and red onion)
1/3 C LSA mix or Linseed Sunflower Almond meal... just tastes nicer than plain linseed (flaxseed) meal
1/4 C each of sunflower & pumpkin seeds
    (Optional: 2 egg whites)

    Method:
    - Mix well & press thinly into baking tray and score before baking to make separating easier post baking
    - Bake in low oven ~@120 C flipping over once partly baked part way through (so both sides cook)

I made 8 large slices, or can make smaller for snacking/ dipping

    Top and enjoy!

    Hello Fellow Aussie Reboot Juicer'z,

I'm new to the Reboot Juicing Diet. I have shopped for all my greens, vegies & fruits, am starting tomorrow 5th Nov. '14. I have my shopping list, alternative foods list & my 15 Day Juicing Plus Guide all downloaded & saved to my computer... Yep! Am fired up & ready to go. When I was reading the books, I joined here early to try & meet folk who are on the same journey that I am about to embark. I'd really love it if folks could please add me to their friends list. I'm in Lismore NSW and am on the map if you'd like a direct link to my wall. I have also joined https://www.facebook.com/groups/rebootaustralia/
I'm interested in gardening tips as would love to grow some greens, my shopping bill for days 1-6 was incredibly expensive for 2 people, my fiancé Nick is doing this with me as well.
Please add me as I feel supporting others and being supported is a great way to stay positive, get insight & feel good about myself, cheer each other up & stay with the juicing diet. Love to meet new folks.
I'm in Australia but would love to hear from you where ever you may live <3 Please Add Me, I am a Real Positive Person and am Good At Cheering People Up :D Thanks so soo sooo much! Aelfwine! <3 :D

Lean Green Meam Juice Alternative Recipe:

Instead of Granny Smith apples use Fuji apples. Even though we are not counting calories the Fuji is 50 less calories per apple and 16g of sugar instead of the 25g that Granny Smith apples have. I also use only 3/4 of a lemon. The taste is way way way different than the bitter mean green taste. Enjoy!!! - See more at: http://community.rebootwithjoe.com/discussions/topic/found-the-fix-to-a-better-mean-green-taste#sthash.t9fFOwOu.dpuf

A group for those interested in not only doing a reboot but using it as a tool to effect serious change in your life. Use this opportunity to kick cravings out, face mental demons, load up on tons of fruits and vegetables and start living the life you always knew you could! I just completed my first 60 day juice only reboot on Thanksgiving (11-28-14) and lost 40lbs!!!! I felt great and still do but am not mentally where I want to be with food yet and physically still need to lose about 40lbs. So, I enjoyed my month after Thanksgiving to Christmas eating a mostly vegan diet and am ready to kick off another 60 day juice reboot. All are welcome, newbies and veterans alike, and although I am doing juice only and hope others will join me, all rebooters are welcome whether you juice only or don't or if it is for 60 days or 3. Let's join together and encourage one another to freedom!!!!
