• About: If I'm inspired and it feels right, I tend to jump into things: writing projects, friendships, worthy causes, almost any body of water. And now juicing! I saw the films and bought a juicer the very next day. Though jumping in has often worked out well for me, I want to be careful with this. So I'm giving myself a couple of weeks to get used to the machine, get my doctor's okay, infiltrate this community, and find a way to pay for all that kale. I figure I'll start with a 3-day fast and if it goes well, extend it.
  • Why I've Joined Reboot with Joe: I'm inspired and it feels right! I really relate to Phil Staples, especially in the second film. I know how it feels to have a smashingly successful weight loss, hurrah hurrah, and then to struggle, self-isolate, get incredibly discouraged, gain all the weight back plus lots more, and just want to hide. I'm so glad he found the courage to pick up the phone and say, "I'm having trouble, I need some help." I hope he is doing okay and knows how much his authenticity and courage mean to those of us who have been there too.
