Hey Roberta. I was the only one posting, so I moved to a more active group. I live in the West Valley and happy to answer any questions. I am on Day 66 of 100, and doing well. I am active in the 60 Days Commit and Persevere reboot support group, so check that site out and see if it will work for you. There is another awesome woman from Arizona in the 60 Days Commit and Perservere group. In the meantime, how can I help you?

Have you started your reboot? How many days are you going to do?

It is Saturday, so I have a little more time to experiment with different juice recipes. I had some strawberries and green grapes to use up, so found a reboot with joe recipe called "Summer Camp Juice". It was delicious. It has grapes, strawberries, apple, and romaine lettuce in it. It is definitely more than 20 % fruit juice, but it was a nice change from Joe's Mean Green all week. Finished up my strawberries, and now looking for recipes to use up some good looking watercress. Have a great day of healthy living!

Day 5 for me and making progress on my juice only 60 day reboot. I find that I need 96 ounces of juice to make it through the day. Today one of my glass jars of juice broke, so I was stuck with only 64 ounces today. I got really really hungry.......I did not have time to juice a second time today, so did eat some food this afternoon. It was an interesting experiment that confirmed that I need 96 ounces to stick to the juice only reboot.

I also spent time today figuring out how many calories are in my 96 ounces of juice. In the "Reboot with Joe" book, they list over 36 juice recipes and each one has a Nutrition per Serving label that includes the calories. I do 80% veggies and 20% fruit so one serving (which Joe defines as 16 ounces) is about 125 calories. That is important to note because most people think one serving is 8 ounces, but the "Reboot with Joe" considers one serving 16 ounces and recommends 4 to 6 servings per day.

Then I figured out how many calories I have to burn through exercise to lose one pound a week. 3,500 calories ! That is 500 calories per day. That means I have to walk about 1.5 hours each day to burn enough calories to lose one pound a week through exercise. Good to know. It definitely got me motivated to get outside and work out today.

    Have a great juice day.......

It is perfect weather in the Valley and will be sure to get my long walk in today. I got my rebounder set up in a nice space in the garage, and will use that daily too. My refrigerator is looking very different. Nothing in there but produce. I like it. My meal decision making process is alot easier too. I get up early and juice my 64 to 96 ounces of juice each day, and I am set. Good luck everyone.

Finished Day 4 today and doing great. I am still at 64 ounces a day, and will keep that quantity level for the first week. I am still detoxing alot and want to be gentle with the cleansing affects of juicing. Good luck everyone.

Howdy Arizona Rebooters. I just finished Day 3 and doing well. I am going to take it slower today as I am having some detox reactions. I juiced 96 ounces yesterday and loved it but feeling it today. I will probably drink just 64 ounces today. I am glad it is Sunday so I can rest as needed. Sipping a cup of hot water and coconut oil right now to soothe my queasy tummy. My favorite go to hot drink and cheaper than buying coconut water.

Howdy. Completed Day One and feel good. Buying produce for 2 days at a time. Drank 64 ounces of juice today. I juiced 96 ounces, but when I got to 64 ounces started to feel sick to my tummy. Ate a banana and had a cup of hot herbal tea. I am committed to a 60 plus reboot, so in it for the long hall. Want to improve my digestion and lower my blood pressure. I live in the West Valley, Surprise/Avondale area.

I am in Mesa, and my family started a Reboot Jan 1st. Starting day 5 this morning, and feeling pretty good! Where do you all like to shop? I try to find the best stuff, for the best value- but that can get complicated... Also what is your favorite juice?

I get all my produce at Superstition Ranch Market, there's one on Main and Higley and one on Apache and Signal Butte ish...not sure if you knew about that place! Sometimes Fry's has some stuff cheaper though :)
