    Juice fast Day 57: My new body weight is now 247.5 lbs (112,3 kg). Total purchase since March 1: 50.5 lbs. So I took off in the last week only 3.5 lbs. There is also a reason for this - if you see my diary on the bottom right, you will find that I could do very little sports last week. But now we have also a measurement, as the juice fast without sports. You can halve the result with the sport. I'll take it easy. I'm still great. The best thing is: In the photo I wear an XL shirt for the first time in years - and it fits! To the start of the juice cure I had 4XL Shirts. Also, I notice very positive changes in my body. I do not breathe heavy anymore, move much more elegantly and feel much more lively and more communicative. Keep my fingers crossed - still 43 days ...     also still juicing. day 56 for me. for your statistics ;-) juicing with some light walking got me to 17kg (37 lbs). so very good job, tikwa.

    hey everyone,



    is this group still active? i have started my fast on march 2nd without being aware of this site. this is day 42. smooth sailing so far, still i had to weather some storms.



    now i am here to talk about the experience, share and receive.



    i would like to continue fasting, but i have no specific goal in mind. i am already happy about my results (~30 lbs, less joint pain, still 31 BMI). i guess, from now, i will do day by day.

    Good job on the 42 days and your great rate of weight loss!!! Maybe join the finished reboot now what discussion forum for more activity. :-)

    Juice fast Day 36: And another week is over again. Here is my current result: I have in the last week exactly 6.8 lbs decreased. Since the start of the juice fasting on the 1st March I have decreased in 35 days 36.8 lbs. In general, I'm feeling good and I'm fit. In the last few days, I feel that I have not as much strength in boxing as two weeks ago. In the last few days, I have also had a slight irritation. I curse every little crap. Food phantasies are also further active in my brain. In addition, the scale in the last week has jumped like mad high and down. (Look at the course in the second window) I watch this further and see how this develops. I extend the Juice Fast again by a week and also keep my goal of 6 lbs decrease. This could be exciting this time, as I'm invited to a barbecue party at the weekend. ;)Keep your fingers crossed. Love, TIKWA

    Hi Everyone, I have now hit Day 35 with a total reduction of weight of 16 pounds. Certainly not at the rate of some of the folks here, but given that since day 12, I have been experimenting and learning what it takes to live with juicing and be able to live and be sociable, responsibly. So the rate has slowed, but it has been steady and I am feeling great. The other real important point is that I truly feel I have gained a lot of knowledge of what works and what does not. After having 3 straight days of many social activities, I just said OK, time to have a 2 meal juicing day and just have some Joe sort of approved soup. BAM, that weight instantly came off . So, this is giving me a good perspective of how the system is working with my system. Good luck everyone, will check in soon.

    Hi, Sorry for the late response, I've been out of town traveling. I finished my 30 day reboot on March 30th :-) What an amazing run... I got my blood work back and it was "great", I dropped 20 lbs and feel AMAZING for it!!! It's been weird cutting back on the juicing and re-introducing solids again... my tastebuds have come alive with every bite of goodness I'm able to enjoy once again in the form of chewing LOL How has your juicing journey been going? I'll be continuing with juicing but will enjoy one meal a day and alternate as required which meal it is I choose to enjoy because sometimes, you just want breakfast!!! :-)

    Good evening everyone!



    So wrapping up Day 5.3, I was down another 3.5 lbs this morning at 234.5. If this rate keeps up I should be in the 220's by Monday or Tuesday which is exciting. As far as P90X goes, I have never done the full 90 days, and I didn't do all of the discs, but I felt stronger on it. I did it for 6 weeks before I got married in 2011. I did the chest, abs, plyometrics, mainly. SO about 3-4 days a week. On top of that I walked/ran intevals for 45 minutes on the treadmill and lost about 25 lbs and toned up a little so I fit into my Hawaiian shirt and Tommy Bahama khakis nicely. I was about 220 at the time. That was back when I couldn't believe that I had gained up to 245, silly me! Little did I know that 268 was in my future. What a glutton I was!

    Only... 6 more full days until the 30 day Reboot is up!!! Time has certainly flown by, although it didn't always seem so in those "moments" :-)

    Day 4.3,



    I am happy to report that I am officially in the 230's! I was 238 lbs this morning. So that is 13 lbs in 3 days on reboot 3.0, and 30 lbs overall since February 8th! I can say that the transition to just juicing as far as feeling blah, having a headache, and feeling starved, was just not present on version 2 and version 3. I think that is what Quahog is referring to as a happy medium! Even though I ate fruits and vegetables and regained 10 lbs, transitioning to 3 days of juice fasting took off 13 lbs, and didn't result in hunger, headaches, or blah feelings. That is reassuring in case I end up going onto reboot version 4 in the future! I think the big thing for me is physical activity! I played basketball Wednesday night and had enough energy with just mean green right before the game. I drank pineapple flavored coconut water at halftime. I didn't score any points, and couldn't keep my hands on the ball for the life of me, but that was no fault of the juice, that was the fault of not playing for 4 months! The good news is we still won! I walked home for 'lunch' yesterday, and will walk today at lunch because it is a beautiful day. So I know the physical activity is making a HUGE difference. My next goal is to start doing some P90X again, or I bought the TRX system for my wife for Christmas, so I want to start working on muscle tone. I was pretty sore, especially in my low back after playing ball, so I know my core has gotten very weak.



    New Me, I am jealous! I love the Cayman Islands. My last employer had a time share on grand cayman and I was able to spend a few weeks there only having to pay for flight! Which was good considering the conversion rate at the time. Everyone told me it things were more expensive on an island, but when I went to buy a bottle of Captain Morgan's Rum I was pleased to see a reasonable 25$ price tag, until I got to the register and realized that was $40 dollars US, LOL! So anyways, beautiful place! My coconut water was in a bottle from Zico!

    Wow!!! Obviously the *woosh fairy* sided with your basketball skills (I mean win ha ha) and rewarded you appropriately with the 13 lb loss!!! Fantastic! Jealous? Of course LOL

    How is the P90X if you actually use it? My husband bought it for me a... few Christmas's ago, and, well, it never did quite make it out of the box. *insert blushed face here*

    I am going for 30 days in total... then I'll spend the first week transitioning back to eating just dinner and juicing my breakfast, lunch & afternoon snack. I might see how I do doing this for the month of April... maybe weaning off of juice except say for breakfast, in the last week of the month as hubby & I are headed to St. Lucia for a few weeks. Coconut Chocolate Martinis here I come!!! Yet another expensive island, but SO very beautiful... I'd love to visit the Cayman Islands as well... I've heard they have good snorkeling there.

    Warmer weather in my neck of the woods as well now... it will be good to trade in my treadmill walks for the great outdoors without having to worry about slipping on a patch of ice and freezing in the bitter cold.
