I am debating on starting back when I hit 60 lbs. But there is also part of me that wants to go the full 60 days and see if I can go beyond the 60 lbs mark. Juice on!

Connie, Make sure you are drinking enough water. You may even have to add another juice to your day. Have some herbal tea. Watch green teas they have caffeine unless they state otherwise. We are on day 22 of 60 and doing well. Not hungry or craving anything. We added 3 tablespoons of hemp hearts with am,noon,pm drinks. This gives you 10g of protein. You also get to chew something. You can get them at whole foods, costco and other stores. They are actually very nutty tasting. Maybe this will help.

Greetings from Texas this morning! Day 12 - Down 16 lbs. Except for being cold all the time I am feeling great. I plan on starting a light exercise program this weekend to see if I can tone up a little bit while I am doing my Juice Fast. I am doing a 60 lb or 60 day fast this year to get started on my road to ReFocusing on my life. I had great success the last time I did my Juice Fast two years ago. As life goes I lost my focus over the past 6 months and had to make a decision to get back on track of a healthy lifestyle. Juice on my friends and have a great day!

Hi everyone! I'm new here and I came here to do the juice fast, and to have maybe some supporters on my journey. I've struggled with weight ever since I can remember, and I'm ready for a healthy change! I have a dance coming up at my school and I really want to look nice, and fit into a dress I really like! The dance is in a couple weeks! Ekk! Wish me luck!

You can do it! Hang the dress on your closet door so you see it all the time. That helps with incentive. Good luck!!!

Hi Folks, I started on New Years Day at 259 lbs., so today, Jan. 20, is day 20. I plan on doing the 30-day reboot. I started this because I went to donate blood on Dec. 27th, 2015, and was declined because my blood pressure was too high - with a high at 143. So I really want to receive the health benefits from this 100% plant-based diet for these 30 days.

I am now down 20 lbs, and got through the first few days of mild headaches from lack of caffeine and sugar by drinking more water. I am using Joe's MEAN GREEN but experiment by adding broccoli, beets, carrots, green pepper, parsley, and cilantro on different days. I found that peeling the lemon is much better because the peel is really tart. (Actually, my wife peels it for me). Also, I core the apples with a simple coring device I got at the store. (I read that apple seeds are not good for you.) I use a whole stalk of celery as this adds more electrolytes.

When I wake up, I feel kinda weak, but, I immediately drink 16 oz. of cool tap water. About an hour or so later, after I have gotten around to juicing, I drink two 16 oz. glasses of the juice - so I load up in the morning. I add the plant-based protein powder (~20 gms. protein) to my lunch and dinner juice. I also add 1 tsp Olive oil. Some days I my juicer yields more juice than on other days -- on days when I only get three 16 - 20 oz. glasses of juice, I will add a Naked drink - Green Machine, Red Machine or Blue Machine for dinner.

I am off of alcohol, caffeine and sugar. Surprisingly, I am not that hungry after I have my morning juice - in fact, I feel quite full and ready to start the day. I am working full time which seems to be a blessing for several reasons, not the least of which is that the time seems to go faster. I have enough energy to do 30 min. on an Elliptical burning up about 240 calories, and while doing that have re-watched on Netflix, "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead," 1 and 2, and also "Hungry For Change" and "Forks over Knives." If you haven't seen the last two, I highly recommend them. After you see them, you will become a believer in a mostly plant-based diet after the reboot.

If time seems to be fleeting, try these two things and life will slow down tremendously: Jogging 5 miles and Dieting! Good luck to all rebooters in the group and let's encourage one another! 1/3 of the way there!

The juice is not holding me over. I'm so hungry that I'm eating apples, tomatoes, anything I can get my hands on. Then I end up eating regular food.????

five days - five pounds Woot Woot!! I'm elated! Plus I'm on that fifth day high. Feeling like I can do this forever (At this moment) how's everybody doing? The conversations are kind of dying off here. I've been resting a lot and trying to keep my life as simple as possible so I keep out of temptation's way. Have a 3 day weekend so plan on reading and watching tv and doing an hour a day at the gym And making juice and making more juice and then make a batch of juice. Hope everybody has a great weekend! Juice on!!

Day 5 - Doing well. Sleeping well. Down almost 9 pounds. I made the Chard Rock Cafe juice yesterday and instead of the silver chard I used red chard. Didn't look like the picture on the recipe when I got done. More Reddish/Brown than Orange. I really thought that this may be one of the worse juices that I have made. Turned out not too bad, the oregano that I put in it saved the day! Keep up the good work!
