My last post. 60 days successfully completed. down 55 pounds. Disappointed that this group completely failed to be a support system, but I wish you all luck.

I am sorry to hear that this particular group didn't take off for you. I am also someone who needs support through the fasting process. I'm on day 24 of 60 and had a minor setback today. Now that you are finished the fast - where to now? Have you reached your goal or do you have another step to take?

Great you have completed the 60 days and lost 55 pounds. There are so many groups and so many people it is hard to make friends unless someone singles me out as a friend. I just read and enjoy the posts of everyone and answer the people who post to me. lol I answer people who don't too. lol Hoping you reach your goal and make many friends while here. Have a great day.

    @ 60 days here I come,

Hi. When I first joined for my 60 day challenge in Dec 2013 I joined many groups. But in the end I was so eager to learn so many things that I just jumped around remarking on anyone's conversation, or offering my two bits, hehe. What I really liked about being a free spirit in this way was that I was able to interact with so many different people as opposed to limiting myself to a particular group. And the network just grew from there.

I hope that it hasn't left you too disheartened not having the interaction of the group you joined as much as you would have liked... I have read that you are healthy and lost so much weight so that in itself is a fantastic thing. Congrats big time for that, A real THUMBS UP moment!

What is your plan now that you have completed juicing?

Thanks. Am on one vegetarian meal a day (though def a cheat meal/celebration yesterday) for a while until I see how my body reacts.

Major set-back. Day 56 (of 60) complete, weighed in. Down 53 pounds. Ignoring first two days (water loss, holiday excess) am down 40.5 in 54 days. Ignoring first two days, weekly weight loss has been 9.5, 7, 7, 5.5, 5.5, 2, 1.5 and 2.5 pounds. Am 88% of the way towards my goal (start 249, current 196, goal 189). The setback? Tore my ACL skiing. I'm a good skier, stopped to help a woman who had fallen on a steep slope who was hopelessly out of her depth. Stood her up, she panicked, twisted, skied over my skis, twisted me....then she fell......on my knee. No good deed goes unpunished eh? So annoyed. Exercise program curtailed.

ONE-DERLAND! Day 49 complete, weighed in. Down 50.5 pounds. Ignoring first two days (water loss, holiday excess) am down 38 in 47 days. Ignoring first two days, weekly weight loss has been 9.5, 7, 7, 5.5, 5.5, 2 and 1.5 pounds. Am 84% of the way towards my goal (start 249, current 198.5, goal 189). I knew I was plateuing, but only 3.5 pounds in 14 days is a little frustrating. After an exercise break, I've upped the running to 30+ miles per week. Am also up to 185 on the 30 day squat challenge. I also drink 150+ oz per day. My conclusion is that my body just wants to pause for a while to establish that I'm not starving it. On the positive side, I have now lost >20% of my body weight, my body fat is 18% and my weight starts with a "1" for the first time in a long, long while. At 6'1" I have another 9.5 pounds before BMI considers me normal weight (yes I know it's not a great measure). We can do this!

Great job Dezi. I had two suits made in early November. They were both made "slim fit" but were just a little too snug at the time if I'm honest. Went to try on one of them for a meeting this afternoon.....and I can take the trousers off without undoing the button or the fly. Wow! Guess I'm going back to the tailor when my weight stabilizes for some alterations.

Today is my day 42. I'm still here and I'll be honest, I have not started either of the 30 day challenges...I had the best of intentions and have not followed through! :( I'm just not in a working out frame of mind during this juice feast I guess. But I feel ready to put the pedal to the medal after I finish this in 18 days! No one has been posting but you an I for a while. Rokalyne, a smoothie would most likely make you hungry and crave food, I hope you're doing okay and have completed your ten days. My hips have lost 7.5 inches so far and my stomach has not shrunk since week 3 and it is now going on week 7-8. It looks smaller, but no measurement change. I do have loose skin on my stomach maybe that's the problem?? I've lost about 4 inches off my stomach so far. Juice on!

Day 42 complete, weighed in. Down 49 pounds. Ignoring first two days (water loss, holiday excess) am down 36.5 in 40 days. Ignoring first two days, weekly weight loss has been 9.5, 7, 7, 5.5, 5.5 and 2 pounds. Am 82% of the way towards my goal (start 249, current 200, goal 189). I knew I was plateuing, shame it was to that degree - really wanted to see a "1" at the beginning. Oh well. Am up to 130 on the 30 day squat challenge. Feel like this group has gone very stale - no one interested in posting here any more?
