So my mom just called me at work to say that she invited my uncle over for Sunday dinner (I live with my mom since I separated from my husband 2 yrs ago, figured she needed the rent money) and asked me what would I like to eat. I said I'm juicing so have whatever you want. She replies how about ham and rice and beans you can eat the ham. I laughed and said no I'm juicing that means I'm only consuming veggies and fruit... I still don't think she gets what I'm doing.

So how active is this group? Are folks getting their questions answered? I am Juliana in NJ. And... I've been juicing off and on for about a month. And since this was a drastic way for me to go, I eat at least one healthy meal a day. I'm older - 63 in years, 29 years in MIND/Heart So I know a thing or two about nutrition and weight loss. And have struggled with weight all my life. And then a light bulb went off...and I started researching foods, and why is it that so many are obese? Of course, between Joe's video and reading/viewing so much on the internet, I started seeing how sugars/wheat/dairy has been altered or addictive...and so no wonder I (and everyone else!!!) have a weight problem!!! I'm not going to write a book here, but just will wait and see if any one responds. Thanks! Juliana

I am on day 2 of my reboot. I am doing three days to detox then I will continue on in small increments until I reach 60 days, or better. I usually eat very good anyway but have gained a lot with pregnancies and recently diagnosed with PCOS which is something I've had since I was 17. I am hoping this week jumpstart my weight loss and healthier life style.

I had a panic attack today. I was stranded at a friend's Easter party and the juice I had for snack just wasn't keeping me full. I also didn't have time to grab juice to take with me. I was so hungry that I actually had to eat. However, what I ate was a bowl of spinach, two slices of tomato and fresh squeezed lemon juice instead of dressing. I felt so much better! Not only did I make the best out of a bad situation, I used what was there to make myself a healthy fruit and veggie meal that had nothing processed. I think this is going to work for me. I am on my way! Honestly, the salad tasted a lot better then the spinach juice. Back to juicing tomorrow! I am so glad that I made the decision to do this!

I have a question. I have been craving asparagus sauteed in olive oil and sea salt is that okay to eat on the plan? I think I may be having a salt deficiency. I have been craving veggies with sea salt. Anyone have any ideas about that?

We'll done you cheeky monkey........... I have tried several times and stop/ started many times but have found it so hard to maintain. My partner hates the taste and my son walks around the house as skinny as a bean pole who can eat you out of house and content and not put on one bloody Pound in weight.

I am going to try again as I am very over weight and want to sort myself out. You did the right thing eating something healthy and at a Easter party too. We'll done you.

I think the salt cravings are coming from eating mostly processed food normally. At some celery stalks in your food and cucumbers and I think you will be fine. Wish you all the best!

It's been a long time since I've been on the site however - the really good news is that I kept the weight off and now I'm going to do some more! The incredible first phase had me really control my eating which is amazing, I lost 25 lbs. I'm going to do it again and try to lean more to the juicing lifestyle, it's great that we are in our spring as I plan on planting some veggies as well :-)

Hello everyone! I am finally taking the plunge and committing to my first Juice Fast!!!! This is huge for me ... I am not at all new to juicing, I have been doing it on and off for the better part of 2 years but in the last few months I have been adding juice to cleaner diet and I have had amazing results and have lost 25lbs. I have always been apprehensive about doing the fast and that is why I have put it off for so long .... but no more .... here we go!!! wish me luck!!!
