I plan to start tomorrow again. Last time I failed. For couple of days I was juicing, but I also have few meals during that time. Tomorrow I want to start more strict diet, juice, fruits and veggies.

Good luck to you :) We'll make it!!

To the group good afternoon hope your day is going well. If you don't know already Joe has a phone app that has a great list of different levels of reboots. Each reboot has a menu for each day and the recipes included. And example (my 30-day Reboot)

has been attached below. It's a great tool. Have an awesome juice day!

Thank you for inviting me to this group. I am embarrassed to say that I am writing this from McDonalds. I was tired after church and could not summon the energy to talk myself out of going. I didn't even make it through the 5 day reboot because I was still getting headaches on Day 4. For the sake of my health and my two kids (ages 7 and 11) I really want to do a 30 day reboot.

I need your help and support. I will give all of you mine to help you reach your goals.

Head Up FibroCFWwoman! I have a 7 & 9 year old and totally understand the hope. I'm doing a 30 day right now. Truthfully once you get past days 4/5 - you truly start to feel so much better and confidence will grow. Hop BACK on the wagon. I'm on day 11 and have started to have my juices (plus one salad of "juicable" foods to get me through each day). It's going great and I'm tracking about a pound a day. That first few days is tough, most of us feel like crap, but you can do it!!! Make it work for you.

Welcome to the group. You will find a lot of support and encouragement here. I am on my 9th day of a 30 day reboot. I have done a juicing before and went on to live a raw diet for almost 2 1/2 years. After four deaths in the family I found myself back in the same rut of the SAD ( Standard American diet) diet. Don't beat yourself up too bad it happens to all of us. And sometimes a reboot takes a few times before you reach your goal. I can tell you that it absolutely works. All you can do is start again when your ready. Water and coconut water is the secret to those headaches. There's also a powdered wheatgrass that you can get to put in a bottle of clean water; just sips a little out of the bottled water to make room for the wheatgrass powder and shake it up let it sit for a few minutes so hydrates and drink it. The headaches will go away and what you feel the first five days is usually all the detox of the chemicals and crap in your body. If you can make it past 5 to 7 days you're going to feel the euphoria of how good your body can really feel. I love the way I felt when I had juiced and then went on to a raw diet; all of my health issues went away and my energy levels were higher than ever and I felt healthy and my well-being was awesome, not to mention I lost 40 pounds. It is definitely worth it. And so are you! Hang in there! Joe Cross has a wonderful phone app that has all of the days you want to detox as well as recipes for each day and exactly what to drink and how much to drink. It's very motivating and most of the drinks are absolutely delicious. On my 30 day detox I had to eat for five days to get ready for the juicing in the food was fabulous. I absolutely love his green detox soup. I have attached that recipe from his app below. Hope this helps I'm here for you. Thank you for joining the group to be here for all of us we need you too! Please be sure to visit the group I post all kinds of pictures and recipes all the time to help everyone see what it looks like. And when I'm done juicing I will be posting so my raw/warm raw diet recipes to help people move on to a healthier diet lifestyle. Hugs Lindy!

I buy this wheatgrass online. As I live in a small town with not a huge organic store just a small one.

Check out Joe’s video, “Why Juice? Let Me Explain” where he talks about how he decided juicing was right for him. The benefits.

I have rea that one of the purposes for the juicing is to allow the digestive system to rest. I have done a fast before for 29 days. There were times I just want to eat a banana or something but I did not. I don't think it would hurt if you did. That's up to you!

However I have noticed in some other reboots there are a mix of juices and smoothies. I don't think it would really hurt, it certainly wouldn't be a sign of weakness or failure if you did. All you're doing is adding the pulp by eating the whole food.

There is an abundant amount of information on-line on juicing vs Smoothies/whole foods and the benefits.

Hope this helps! I know it's hard to just drunk juice all day, remember that a lot of our cravings are just that cravings. If you're juicing the right amount of juices per day your body is getting all the nutrition it needs. Juicing will allow your body to readjust to the taste and the nutritional values. Those cravings will decrease and become more normal with time!

From what I have read, the idea of juice only is that it has only soluble (dissolves) in water fiber and all the insoluble fiber goes out in the pulp. Soluble fiber is easy to digest while the insoluble takes more work. So juice is the fastest way to get nutrition into your body.

Whether or not you eat solid foods depends on your goals. If your main goal is weight loss, I would say go for it, especially because the insoluble fiber will leave you feeling fuller longer. If you have health or food issues, juice is better.

I hope this helps. Please tell me if my explanations get annoying. I used to be a scientist, so I can fall back into lecturing. ????

Making juicing easier: when I go buy my produce I wash it, cut it and prep then and bag each juice according to ingredients. Then I don't have to clean it cut it chop it and figure out what goes in each juice drink. Also if I'm juicing more than one kind of juice per day I usually only have to wash my juicer once. However it is always easier to clean the juicer just after juicing. You can always make all your juices first thing in the morning and label them in mason jars and put them in the refrigerator. However I like to drink my juice just after it's been processed. Juice On!!!

The sport drink was a little strong with acid yesterday. It seemed upset my stomach. Glad that's over now; not a juice I would probably make again.

The Green reboot soup, I could eat all day long. It is so delicious. This is definitely going to be one of my favorites on my Raw/Warm Raw plant-based diet after my juicing. It was one of the meals during the first five days. I sure do miss it can't wait to eat it again.

IS this one of Joe's recipes? I would like to know what is in it. I am on Day 8. I am letting my body decide how long it wants to go. I am not really hungry or having cravings. I will keep going, because it takes so long to psyche myself up to do a prolong fast! Looking for the support of others on the road. Thanks for inviting me.

Yes this is one of Joe's recipes. I'm on the 30 day reboot and in the first five days there are meals and this is one of the soups during this period of my reboot. It's in his recipes on the website as well. It's a wonderful soup. In the raspberry it says to blended or put it in a food processor. I chose to put it in a food processor.
