Hi all, I just joined this group, live southeast of Seattle. I am 15 days into a 30 day Guided Reboot! It's going well. It's nice to have the support of the group, a nutritionist and know exactly what you are to have for each meal. Also there are weekly webinars that are informative and you can interact with the nutritionist. I've done other juice fasts on my own and this is much better.

I see the last post here was a year ago. Is anyone still on here??

Hi all, Ive been starting a week. I am beginning to crave the juice. Love the beets for juice. I have been using a vitamix then straining thru a jelly bag. I did order a juicer which should be here soon. Since we get really cold here in the northwest (I am an hour from Canadian border) I let my produce come to room temp so my juice isnt so cold.

Still weaning off coffee. Only have 1/2 cup a day vs the one cup. I seem to be feeling a bit better. I had a stroke last year. Have minor issues from it thank goodness and not any major. Need to lose weight (40lbs) and feel better. Hate pills want to be off all of them!

Avid walker and snowshoe in winter.

    Any tips and encouragement appreciated!

Hello everyone! I'm an OSU student and have let my health take the backseat. So I'm going to juice to get back in shape and hopefully have a clearer mind by the time finals roll around! I'm on day 3, and it's been ok, although there have been a few cravings (free pizza at work was hard to turn down). But I'm in it to win it. Hope all is well for everyone else! :D

How are all you juicing NW-eners doing?

    Greetings!!

I live in Pasco, Washington. So nice to see locals! This is my first time Rebooting and so far I'm enjoying every minute of it! I am blogging here and on two other groups so I can remember this experience. If I remember the pain then maybe I won't be in this situation again. Then I can devote all my time and energy into helping others!

My goal is to drop 111 lbs. by August 2015. That's 75 weeks away. Comes out to about 1.5 lbs. a week. A do-able goal I think.

Juicing won't be my hardest part. My hurdle will be the exercise. Can't start a new life without moving!! and I hate moving... hate being sweaty, hate being out of breath, hate the feeling I am having a heart attack.

The Army tried for ten years to beat a love of endorphins into me... they failed. Now I have to do this without a drill sergeant standing over me. *sigh* Now to actually stop blogging and start jogging!! hahaha!

    I Juice. Therefore I am.

Lydia! WOW! Good for you. Moving is like anything. You have to develop a habit. Start small and work your way up! 15-minutes out the door and then 15-minutes back, daily. I understand the sweating issue though. UGH! I know the feeling of just wanting someone to "yell you out of bed"!!!

Keep us up on how you're doing.

    Hi All -

Glad to find a group of locals.

So far, I have done 2 seven day juice fasts, while eating plant-based in between. Just started a 30 day juice fast 4 days ago. I'm down 31 pounds total and thrilled!

Taught a juicing 101 demo at Beaverton Natural Grocers. Packed audience! Great questions! It was great. Juice on!

Penny! Congrats and good luck of course. Plenty of friends and services here for your support. Just remember to juice often, not to cut back on the numbers of juices you consume. And elimination is key to any successful cleansing process. Let us know how you are (good or bad) so we can cheer you on!
