I think I had the mileage needed wrong, however I need 121.6 miles left to complete the Amerithon, and 142.8 to complete the Run the year challenge. Interesting to see how each year goes i have completed the RTY challenges a bit faster each year. I have done this 3 times now the first one I finished in December, the last in October. So even with my last 3 month of not actually going out walking but doing some major gardening I have done more than last year. Hoping to complete them both for my birthday.

By the way in my Run the year journey i have only 201.19 miles to go to finish the challenge so I should be done sometime early in September! And in My amerithon challenge to Run across the United States, I have only 180 miles to go! So I am going to strive to make this on or before my birthday Sept. 1. I am pretty sure I can do it as I walked over 100 miles in the last 9 days. And I have had several 11 mile days. Going to try!

Hello all I have been busy packing it up and throwing things away. Still have more to go, stuck in the laundry room as I have a broken drawer over a cabinet that I need to get fixed so I can use the cabinet. right now all of the contents I want to put in there are on the shelf above it. I have one cabinet cleaned on the left that I will have to use instead if it isn't fixed soon as it is empty completely.

I am starting a juice fast September 15. I am drinking one juice every morning right now and will progress to 2 juices and one meal a day Sept 1st, then 4 juices/day on the 15th as I want to go for at least 2 weeks of juice only.

I think if I can get the house prepped for sale by the end of November all will be good. Once the laundry room is done (and it almost is) I can get into the attic above it where boxes of Christmas decorations have lived for at least 10 years without being seen by the human eye in all of that time! some belonged to Mark's grandparents. I want to get them down by the end of the month and go through it all so I can have a pre-Christmas garage sale. I have a lot of small Christmas villages living in that attic.

I decided to tackle the laundry room first I have 3 double cabinets on the bottom left when you enter the room and 6 drawers above them I did the 2 of the double cabinets then the 3 drawers above them in a day and a half, then did the next one with the drawers above the following day. The first cupboards were the hardest. Mos of the stuff in the drawers was garbage. Yesterday I emptied the 2 double cupboards above the washer and dryer and separated everything out before Mark made a dump run. I had filled a garbage can and 1/3 with expired food from the pantry. I decided we needed to use up the food in the freezers and pantry before I can get going on a full blown juice fast. One good thing is that I have a vegan roast in the freezer I can have while he eats meat which will last a few days. I have a lot of cucumbers and kale in the garden, tons of various zucchinis that are filling the fridge and we are eating in several different ways. So my plan today is to get some other mean green ingredients at the store and make a batch of Mean green at least I can start each day off with a juice and eat vegan the majority of the time on what I am growing.

Home now, the pad has been cut for the house and they were digging out the base of the wall to go around the property as well. They should be laying the foundation next week, they were going to put in the piping Thursday and Friday. Going to get stuff more organized here I brought pics back from the desert house, and I need to wrap them and pack them with all of the others. Not sure where I will go from there I should probably start in each bathroom and figure out what to do, I need to declutter in there as well.

Hanging in there finding help in the area my parents live is a challenge! They still have the dignity health people coming in and out each week that should end soon my mom also found a house keeper who wants to help with my dad, however she is like a drill sergeant and my dad does not do well when people are harsh with him you have to be kind and laugh a little when he is getting frustrated and say that is hard for me too dad, and he laughs and then is able to relax and do what needs to be done.
