Hi all~ I have Hashimotos Thyroiditis as well as other chronic health issues. My endocrinologist today told me it's a waste of money. Says she doesn't support it for the good thyroid function. Says we should just eat the veggies and fruit. I'm checking too to see if the high concentration of phytonutrients is okay to have with under active thyroid.

    Thank you

I have had hypothyroidism for about 7 years. I am pre diabetic. I recently found out i have asthma. I am trying jucing to see if it helps my hormones and my health problems get better. I am hoping jucing will get me a reduction in thyroid medication and help my other helath problems.

Hey all... hope yer all well.

I, also, just found out I have PCOS. Unfortunately, it seems that means I have to give up juicing. =( Just about every source says to naturally treat PCOS we need to eat a very low-carb, high fibre diet. Exactly the opposite of what juicing is! I'm pretty bummed about that, but on a potentially good note the PCOS symptoms are identical to the symptoms my doctor noted to determine the early-menopause diagnosis. I'm holding out hope that she was mistaken and if I can get the PCOS under control (with a protein and fats-heavy diet... how bizarre) then hubs and I may finally get that third child we were hoping for.

    Fingers crossed. ;)

    Hey Ladies

How are you all getting on? Hope everyone is well.

Reached day 55 and so excited to get to day 60,really want a meal. Il be celebrating by going for dinner at the end of day 60. I still Plan to juice when I finish the reboot. It's been very hard at times particularly when it's that time of the month.

Found out I have PCOS so need to keep up a clean lifestyle. X

    Hi Tumbleweed,

Well done on getting to day 20,thats really fantastic and a brilliant weight loss too. It feels great when you notice it in your clothes, it gives you lots of confidence too. Your are well into the swing of it all. How many days you doing in total? Any really tasty juice recipes? My favourite is pineapple, ginger, pepper and lime

I purchased a fitbit off a friend at it so good as I've been walking over 13,000 steps a day and it really helps with the weight loss, I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Big Congrats to you Monica! 47 is such a huge achievement! Your weight loss is amazing! I'm on day 20 today, almost to the 3 week mark! A few days ago I did some nibbling on gluten free cottage cheese pancakes & apple slices. It was as tasty as it looked! But, the next day was HARD to keep on track. I'm back in the swing & am appreciating the weight loss. I'm down 10 lbs! I really feel different too, size-wise. I'm looking forward to losing even more, but I still haven't set a goal for this fast. I'm thinking it'll be another 3 weeks-ish. 1/2 way there!

    Hi Cathy

Welcome to the group and welcome to juicing. There is a lot to take in with Hypothyroidism so just take your time and read and research. With juicing the main thing is to heavily limit cruciferous foods even cabbage, sprouts, spinach, we are meant to limit things like strawberries and peaches too. If your eating food avoid soya, processed foods dairy, peanuts, avoid meat other grass fed meat. It is about diet and lifestyle change for the long term. Stress can also effect the thyroid negatively. We are all here to support each other so just ask. It's important that you have juices regularly throughout the day and 2/3brazil nuts a day are good too.

What day you on and how you feeling?

    Hey Ladies

Reached Day 40 today and feel so good, I'm gona weigh myself on Saturday but clothes are feeling so loose and feel like ive lost another 3lbs. I have got myself a fitbit and have been obsessed with doing over 10000 steps,it's good fun. I see consultant next week so will see what the results are.

Tumbleweed it sounds like your doing amazingly well and considering your doing a really stressful thing of moving house, well done on the weight loss to that's so good. try and get ample rest that will help ease the exhaustion. Your doing really well. The bribe/ incentives are a great idea too.

    Hope your well too Charron

    Xxx
