Hello Juicers and Feasters. I am visiting with my parents, my mom needs to get some help here but she is hard headed and thinks she can do it herself, however she is falling apart mentally and physically. What to do What to do!

Oh boy, I hear ya. Been going through that for the past 4-5 years with my mom. I have 24hr "baby sitters" for my mom. She's 94. Her mind is still strong which makes it harder on me. I thought they moved into assisted living?

Good Morning everyone... Hope you are all having a fantastic day. I am really looking forward to the long weekend. I am loving juicing again and and everything is good no headaches, no cravings, even when I am cooking for my husband, actually in most cases the food don't smell as good as it use to before my reboot.. (is the normal?) who woulda thunk it... haha.. All I can think about and plann is all the ways I will be able to incorporate more vegetables in my meal.....a real eye opener...... Well have a great weekend everyone...

side note: I am down to 184lbs...

Food smells have that effect after awhile. My husband will be cooking and I have to remind him to turn the fan on over the stove and go outside myself because the smell is unpleasant.

Day 2 at the chiropractor. I'm still alive. I slept a bit better last night than I have in 3 months.

Got a fresh load of veggies delivered this morning at 7am. Amazon Fresh is my friend.

I am back home now and started my reboot on June 11th 2019, only three days in today but i am doing good..no cravings so far but a bit of headache. I am hydrating properly as well even got an app to remind me to drink water theough all the juices tea broth and coconut water... :) its my birthday today and I am not able to celebrate it with my husband like we would but I know it will all be worth it when we can in a more healthy way.. Side note since my transition in a week ago I went from 190 to 187.7 ..yay....

One thing I learned today that you can not grow cucumbers in Az. They say the taste is bad due to the high alkaline content of the soil, no humidity etc. I think I may try some deep boxes placed along a fenced wall with plenty of deep rich soil and see what happens.

traveling the USA in my twenties, sometimes i missed the hills& trees. never knew it til i came home that one time & noticed. whenever that was. too long ago is when.

having nice weather. gonna have three days of high eighties & a 90 in there. can't beat 82 , clear blue skies & 60% dew point!

Hello Juicers and feasters! My tomato plants are all growing not too many tomatoes on the vines yet usually I have many more not sure why. I have already picked a bunch of orange cherry tomatoes, and a few early girls, and a couple of other varieties. I wish my counter looked like this:

So, when I decided to get serious about losing some weight after my bike crash and roll not only did I see a holistic nutritionist, for a very short time, I also joined Weight Watchers for the use of their scale and to be forced to go in and get weighed every week. That's always been a great motivator for me, a weekly forced weight -in. I don't follow WW nor do I stay for their awful boring meetings. BUT, today I went in for my weigh-in and I lost 26lbs on their scale, I'm fully clothed there lol my scale shows -28 not clothed. So, I got a -25lb charm. LOL Whatever it takes!

So, now I will go make my 64oz. And I will juice all the organic celery I have.

Hello everyone Hope you are all doing well. Going to do some weeding the garden again today. Had my first tomatoes a few days ago, the larger ones. Smaller ones have been producing already. Chased a ground squirrel around the garden yesterday then he took off through the fence. I can see he has nibbled on some pepper plants pulled green tomatoes off the plants and decided they were not ready yet, and ate the tops off of some cucumber plants! The sunflower garden is doing well, the sunflowers are between 18 and 24 inches I had to reseed a spot where the gopher had pushed the plants out of the ground as the plants were not recovering.

I decided yesterday to get it together and repot some of my orchids, I had 2 that were dying and 5 that were in bad shape due to not being repotted. I have had them for years and this is the 2nd year where all of the plants were not reflowering. Last year only 2 did not reflower, and those completely died.. I have about 7 I am reviving, I hope, i have never repotted orchids before and so I was afraid to try it. However the plants looked tired and sad so it was time. I have 6 that are blooming right now, and 3 of those need to be repotted, however I will wait and see how the 7 I am working on do before I repot them and also wait for the bloom to drop off. I ordered moss and also bark for the cymbidiums outside, as they are pot bound and did not bloom this year, so they need to be divided and repotted. Should they all survive there is a larger space for them in the new house with the perfect exposure The cymbidiums will fo in the interior garden space so I can move them indoors when it gets too cold.
