I have tried to send you a message twice, and it didn't work. Testing this to see if it is working.

Hi everyone. My mom has fibromyalgia and arthritis and is open to the idea of juicing and already has a juicer, but where do we start? I want to juice with her for support. I'm a super busy teacher and am not sure what recipes to use, when, quantities etc. Where do we start? Well done on you all starting your journey - this will, no doubt, be worth the pain and change your life for the better. Keep going!

It appears this group is not active. Saw your post on the feed. I have fibromyalgia , not chronic fatigue, and it is more or less under control. My issue at this time is allergies and environmental sensitivities. I rebooted being careful not to trigger the fibro.

The basic philosophy of the program, I think, is the premise that 75% of all health issues are due to poor nutrition. With reboot the goal is nutrition first, and the loss of weight flows from this. Here is my journey so far.

    1. Read the book, highly recommended. 2. Did a 5 day transition to start detoxing the body of caffeine, sugar, alcohol, and processed foods. 3. Did a 10 day reboot. This is a juice and eating program which worked wonders with my energy level. 4.currently, working on transition out and continuing the life plan towards a plant based diet, different from vegan but along the same path in my opinion.

I found the App for iPad quite helpful in that there is a buying guide for each plan, a tracker, recipes by plan, by day. It works so well I am adapting it to transition.

If you have a question, email me and I will be happy to answer if I can. 'Ask the Nutriionist' is a reboot sponsored group. Other groups are rebooters helping each other. My focus is health, not weight, although I have been happy with my weight loss.

Hi everyone!! I am on day 5 of a 30 day reboot. I have over 150 lbs. to lose. I suffer from fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. I am also insulin resistant. I haven't really felt any improvement pain wise, and I am running low on energy. I am hoping to feel the great effects of juicing soon!! I hope everyone is doing good!! :)

I have been doing my juicing as a supplement for almost a month now. One glass in the morning for breakfast. About a week ago I started to have bad joint pain and am wondering if this could be the juicing? Has anyone else had anything like this and does it go away? I am still on three meds: Thyroid medication, two Prilosec's and an antihistamine as needed.

I got the reboot with joe book, and 101 juice recipes. I will let you all know what I think.

Tomorrow back on the juice wagon, I also fell off. Must have been the moon. I do feel better, so I know this is something I will have to do forever.

Where is everyone? day 7 of I don't know. It seems easier to just keep going. Actually got a little surge of energy. Awesome. I really have to stay "on schedule" or else I get behind on my drinking. I certainly do feel better. Pain is much less, except today I have an earache. I think it is not related to fibro or juicing.

Oh my, time flies. Starting day 6. Never thought I would make it this far. Just doing today and then tomorrow. Yesterday went okay. Kind of off schedule. Got behind and then have to play catch up. Key for me is to get up and start with my hot water and keep on schedule. Did find Vita coco with pineapple was pretty good. Sometimes you have to make a small consecion, to met the big goal. I do feel better less pain definetly. Will see how the energy goes. Still have restless legs for sure. Juice on. -

    Hello everyone,

Today is my first day on this site (I have been checking out juicing for fibromyalgia for a week or so) I think I am going to buy a juicer this weekend and going to give it a try! What do I have to lose?! I am 26 and getting married in May. I am so sick of the pain that I have had for 4 constant months since becoming ill. I pray that I can heal myself because all Lyrica did for me was make me gain 20 unwanted lbs! Can any of you share your experiences (and hopefully successes?) I would be forever grateful for the encouragement! Also, what kind of juicer should I get? (Wanting to keep it around $100 if I can!) THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

I to started juicing for my fibro. Lots of pain Not sure if the painis better beause I restarted my nonsteriodial meds or juicing. Don't care. I take a cocktail of meds at night to get me to sleep. If you are not sleeping good, that doesn't help your pain. Have you seen a rheumatologist for you fibro? A good one can make the difference. I had to have a sleep study to find out I had restless legs and wasn't sleeping good. I have found with MY fibro, nothing works today. I have to give it a week or two. So it is helpful to keep a journal with how you are feeeling and when you have med changes, or juicing starts and what day you are on.

Didn't say where you were. I bought mine off e-bay. It was listed by consumer reports for best buy. It is a HamiltonBeach. Paid less than $50.00. It seems to work fine.
