    Good Morning,

I was struggling with my journey when I saw your group.

I don't live on the Gold Coast, but I do live on the east coast, USA. Florida.

I just finished a 60 day reboot on June 3rd. In that guided reboot, I went 40 days and nights juice only. And it was wonderful. I urge you to continue on and complete your 40 days!!! The last few weeks of the reboot were designed to be juice/food, and that is when I faltered. I began to eat junk food.

Just like you, I had issues in the evening, but I persevered and make it through the 40 days of juice only, and doing so, I lost 22 pounds.

The problem I have now is that I am going back to my old habits. I've even put on a few pounds, and if I don't stop my terrible eating, I will keep gaining.

Strange that juice only was so much easier than juice and eating food.

I still want juice, and I've been exploring a few smoothie recipes, because I hated throwing away all that pulp. Now I get my fruits and veggies without all that waste. But, in the evenings, I want real food. Not the strange veggie dishes that I didn't love that I made while on the reboot. There are only so many days that I can eat a salad and be satisfied.

Over the past week, the scale hasn't moved. Not up, not down. And that is with a diet of juice/smoothies in the morning and mostly junk at night. But, I'm not satisfied with my weight. I am still considered overweight, and I would be happier if I lost at least another 30 pounds.

I need to learn how to eat right to make this a permanent lifestyle. It makes me sick to think that I could go back to being obese, and I don't want to do that. I like having energy and stamina to make it through my day.

We can get through this together! :)

Okay so I know my photo is on an angle. I thought about changing it but then I decided that it could stay sideways. My name is Katie and I am Day 10 of a 60 day reboot. And I have completed only two 5 day reboots before. I had been working hard in a cafe/ restaurant for the past 6 months and in that short time my weight increased by 10kg. (sorry I am Australian you will have to convert to pounds yourself) So 10 days ago I weighed in on the scales at 85.5kg. (Which sounds so much nicer in kilos than pounds). Well when I woke up this morning I hoped on the scales and I was down to 79kgs. that is a total of 6.5 kilos lost in 10 days. There is some mean motivation right there. I have been going to the gym every morning. I do whatever class is on at 6am. Metafit, tabata training, indoor boot camp. And the days nothing is on I go in at 5.30am and I walk for 30 minutes on the treadmill, 20 minutes on the cross trainer, 10 minutes on the bike and 10 minutes on the rower. I also complete the same 30 minute tready and 20 minute cross trainer exercises in the afternoon before I pick my son up from work (but I just take it nice and easy no pressure just get moving)

BUT the evening is so hard. I make the boys dinner early in the day when I am at my strongest. And come the night time I have all my juice ready to rock but that mental anguish is a killer. I went to the gym during this time once and it worked. But I can't do that every night of the week. Parental responsibilities and all. My eldest son has been a great support. He will now step in and finish off dinner for him and his brother (maybe he is just spitting in his brothers food??). so I just hide in my bedroom. My big question is. Does this time ever get better?? I mean it has gotten a little easier but by George I am over that time of day.

Well that is a little about me. I am looking to meet some new friends that are sharing the same journey. It would be great if those friends happened to live on the Gold Coast, Aust. However I love to travel so maybe one day a new friend on here that lives somewhere crazy awesome I can make a plan to come visit. Just thinking out loud now.
